This is really the 4/23/88 NWA Pro show.

This starts with a promo from Dr. Death who wants a match with Ric Flair and said that he would be watching the Midnight Rider's back.

"Total Package" Lex Luger & Barry Windham vs. Bob Emory & Bob Riddle (4/10/88)

Luger & Windham are in their final days as a team and look impressive taking out these guys.

Rotundo & Steiner then cut a promo next about the show in Fayetteville, North Carolina on 4/25.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Curtis Thompson (4/10/88)

Al looks good here.

The Midnight Rider (Dusty Rhodes) vs. Bear Collie (4/10/88)

The Rider coming out riding a horse then walking with Magnum got a mega pop from the crowd and the Rider made easy work of Collie who tried to attack Rider with a chair then he got DDT'd on the chair twice. Rider then clears the ring of jobbers and cuts a promo with Jim Ross about raising hell in the NWA and bringing violence.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Tommy Angel (4/10/88)

Easy win for Doc.

Dillon is out next emploring the heel managers to join forces to get rid of the Midnight Rider and this is more important than any titles or money right now.

Mark Fleming vs. Tully Blanchard (4/10/88)

Fleming shows up late which was funny and Tully makes him pay for it immediately then throws him over the top rope to the floor where he continues to beat on him. Magnum then shows up with the horse and the Midnight Rider's theme plays with the Rider sneaking from behind putting a noose around Tully's neck. Dillon is scared to death as the heels run out and Rider holds them all off before he ducks to the floor where the babyfaces all run out to stand tall with him. This is a fucking awesome angle and a slam dunk extra.

Then we get promos from Al Perez & Gary Hart about coming to Fayetteville, North Carolina on 4/25.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Trent Knight & Tony Suber (4/10/88)

Total squash and they cut a promo with Bob Caudle afterwards talking about wanting a shot at Luger & Windham.

The Varsity Club (Mike Rotundo & Kevin Sullivan) vs. Rocky King & Larry Stephens (4/10/88)

The VC are vicious working over these guys.

Flair is with Bob Caudle next talking about Dr. Death's challenge from earlier and Flair said that he has challengers from all over the world but they have to beat him and they won't. Flair then talks about the Midnight Rider and he said that his career will be ended.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Joe Cruz (4/10/88)

Nikita looks very strong here and cuts a promo afterwards talking about wanting all the singles titles. Gary Hart then comes out and said that Al Perez will take care of him so Nikita demands he come in the ring but Hart won't let Perez go in there.
