This show starts with Nikita Koloff talking to Jim Ross about Barry Windham joining the Horsemen and Nikita feels good about his allies in that war.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Robbie Aumen & Jerry Price (5/11/88)

Rogers losing Aumen in a backbreaker was something but other than that the Fants look great here. Fants then talk to Tony afterwards about crashing the MX's party the week before and how much they want to strap him.

Ellering is out next for a promo with Jim Ross and he warns Windham that the Roadies are coming for him and the Horsemen.

Doc destroys Phelps.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner & Mike Rotundo) (5/11/88)

Ronnie looks good to start and the right hand he popped Rotundo with on the floor was great. Sullivan is like a statue staring at Precious while Rotundo & Steiner are fighting each other on the floor was something. Jimmy comes in and the Garvin's maintain their advantage and they have the VC reeling. Ronnie would lock on the sleeper on Steiner and the crowd went nuts but Rotundo climbed up top and smashed him in the back to break the hold. Ronnie works FIP and does a really good job here getting over his struggle of trying to get the tag to Jimmy while taking punishment. Ronnie has some good hope spots too and after finally getting the hot tag to Jimmy, the match changed as Jimmy was a house of fire taking it to the VC. Ronnie would join in and Sullivan finally snapped out of his trance taking Precious over his shoulder and running to the back. The crowd was so nuts they couldn't hear her screaming until Jimmy looked around and didn't see her so he asked Ross what happened and along with Ronnie ran out to find her. They leave the ring and the cameras follow them to the locker room where they find her sitting on the floor screaming and crying. The match was pretty damn good and the angle afterwards was very interesting so I'm putting this up on the block as a low-end nomination.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Russ Mosley (5/11/88)

Perez manhandles this guy and along with Gary Hart talk to Tony after the match about their issues with Nikita. Gary calls him a socialist pig which is funny and said that any liberal American fan that cheers for him is a diabolic moron.

Dusty Rhodes joins Jim Ross next for a promo where he talks about loving rednecks in Tallahassee before talking about Barry Windham and how all the babyfaces are coming for him now. Dusty said that he is coming for Tully Blanchard especially since he slapped Magnum. Extra material.

Sting vs. Larry Davis (5/11/88)

Sting wins in seconds and then talks to Ross saying the same stuff he had been saying about Windham the past few weeks.

Ricky Santana vs. Mike Jackson (5/11/88)

Fans chanting boring while Santana was working an armbar was funny. This was a pretty fun babyface match based around counters and matwork but this crowd wasn't feeling it at all.

Jim Cornette comes out next with Tony and they show clips of him getting put in the cake. Cornette vows to get revenge and said that the MX will crush them before it's over. Cornette is great here. Extra material.

Flair is out next with Ross talking about how it's a no brainer that Windham wanted to be a Horsemen because look at the quality of women they get compared to the ones that Sting and his friends get.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson vs. Ryan Wagner (5/11/88)

Arn hits the DDT in seconds then toys with him before dropping him with the Gourdbuster to win. After the match, Tony is joined by Dillon and the Horsemen talking about what Dusty said earlier and that they aren't going anywhere that they are here to stay. Tully said they kicked Luger out because they wanted to and Windham was ready to be a Horseman. Arn basically said to let Windham go.

Barry Windham vs. Keith Steinborn (5/11/88)

Windham is a machine here winning with the Flying Lariat then uses the claw afterwards. Windham then cut a promo afterwards saying that he is all natural and all the babyfaces are jealous of him. He became a Horseman because he wanted to.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. The Powers of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) (5/11/88)

The Roadies attack the POP at the bell with Hawk running in with a chair and using it sending the POP running. The match is a total hoss fight with both teams just pounding on each other with big power moves until Arn & Tully run out pulling Animal out of the ring attacking him allowing the POP to destroy Hawk. Fun segment.

Texas Bullrope Match: "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes vs. Tully Blanchard (5/11/88)

Of course TV time runs out early in the match but what we get is very fun.

"Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin & "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner & Mike Rotundo) (5/11/88)

 

Ronnie Garvin does a real mans lock up. He slaps the taste out of Mike's mouth. Crowd is really into it. Some early back and forth till bam Rotundo gets nailed by a RG punch. Rick Steiner is in to test him. No luck for Steiner. Solid baby face shine. They're using their fists. Commercial break and the heels are in control. Heels using the sleeper to remain in control. Hot tag, but ref doesn't see it. RG tries to fire up , get the tag. Sullivan takes Precious away. Ok match that told a story. I'll sign up as a low level nomination because they kept the crowd hot.
