Sting vs. Jerry Price (6/25/88)

Sting is wearing his Bash t-shirt to the ring then keeps it on for the match. Sting then talks to David Crockett afterwards about his match at the Bash PPV with Nikita against Arn & Tully.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff & Russian Assassin vs. Robbie Auman & Keith Steinborn (6/25/88)

The Russian anthem playing before the match is great and the Russians kill these guys. Paul Jones and his boys cut a promo afterwards about the Bash and being in the Tower of Doom and the Skywalkers match.

Jim Crockett comes out next and announces that Cornette will in a cage above the ring wearing a straightjacket at the Bash. Cornette gives Crockett a Coke and kisses his ass heavily before Jimmy walks away. Cornette is pissed. Extra material.

Magnum TA then comes out and talks about how he will be there in Norfolk at the Bash for the Dusty/Tully I Quit Match.

The Lightning Express (Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner) & Kendall Windham vs. The Cruel Connection & Max McGyver (6/25/88)

The babyfaces look very good here while Magnum does commentary with Ross.

Then we get a taped promo from Dusty Rhodes talking about his war with Windham and the Horsemen.

Scott Putski vs. David Isley (6/25/88)

This is something seeing a rookie Scott Putski working here...obviously thorugh the Paul Boesch connection. Putski is barefoot wearing his cheetah print tights with a short haircut. Scott barely hits a big splash off the top rope to win the match. Scott also cuts a promo with David Crockett talking about dreaming of this moment and he can't wait to work the Bash tour in Houston on 7/29. This was just odd to watch but fun.

Nikita & Doc are out next for a promo talking about the Bash tour and how Nikita is going to whip Perez in the Russian Chain match. Doc then talks about the Bash PPV.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Tommy Royal & JC Wilde (6/25/88)

Total destruction and they join Crockett afterwards talking about the Tower of Doom and Skywalkers then calls the Russian Assassin "Angel" which was funny.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Ryan Wagner (6/25/88)

Nikita wins fairly quickly with the Russian Sickle.

Mike Rotundo & Kevin Sullivan are next for a promo talking about all the defenses he has on the Bash tour. Rotundo said that if he makes it through the Bash tour with his belt he thinks he should get a shot at Flair. Sullivan then talks about the Roadies and Precious saying that she was lying.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Rick Allen & Italian Stallion (6/25/88)

Very easy win for the Sheeps who cut a promo afterwards talking about resuming their feud with the Rock n Roll Express who are back in the area.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Tony Bowen & Joe Cruz (6/25/88)

The champs look great taking these guys out.

Ric Flair is with David Crockett next saying that he wins at all costs and he is like the Los Angeles Lakers because all they do is win titles. Flair then goes off on Luger saying that he won't beat him.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Bear Collie (6/25/88)

Doc wins quickly with the Oklahoma Stampede.

Luger is out next wearing a tank top which is easy for Lex to take off to show off his muscles and he said that he wants Flair at his best at the Bash because he is going to beat him.

Barry Windham vs. Bobby Rose (6/25/88)

Windham doesn't even take off his vest here using the Superplex on Rose then the claw to win. Windham & Dillon join Crockett for a promo afterwards with Dillon telling everyone to watch the Bash PPV to see Windham take out Dusty.
