Sting & "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. The Green Hornet & Dale Laperhourse (7/16/88)

Sting is pumped up here and they kill these guys. Doc's high-angle piledriver on Hornet was crazy.

Jim Crockett is out next and said that Flair & Luger were both winners on the Bash PPV.

Flair & Dillon then come out next celebrating the victory over Luger with Flair saying that Luger wasn't completely ready for what happened and if he was a true champion he would've been. Flair also talks about how the Horsemen all retained their titles and they are the best ever.

Brad Armstrong vs. Larry Stephens (7/16/88)

Another good win on TV for Brad and he talks to David Crockett after the match about how he thought that Luger beat Flair.

Windham & Dillon are with Jim Ross next talking about how Windham needed Ronnie Garvin's help to win which Dillon scoffed at. Windham said that he beat Dusty that's all that matters and Garvin was part of the plan. This leads to Ronnie Garvin & Gary Hart coming out with Dillon saying that his plan has come to fruition as they are trying to destroy Dusty Rhodes. Ronnie said that he would do anything for money. Extra material.

"Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch vs. Curtis Thompson (7/16/88)

Murdoch is back from Japan and he destroys Thompson with help from Kevin Sullivan. Murdoch & Sullivan then talk to Crockett next about Dusty bringing back The Sheik to Detroit on 7/31 to face them. Sullivan is all upset and Murdoch said that all the announcers are biased then ripped on the Democratic National Convention being in Atlanta because he was a Republican to the core. Murdoch is great here. Extra material.

"The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Tommy Angel & Trent Knight (7/16/88)

Angel actually getting a nearfall on both Arn & Tully early after Tully mocked him was great. Angel tagging in Knight who immediately got kicked and DDT'ed to end the match was great. The champs then joined Crockett afterwards talking about how they are the best at what they do and no one can stop them. Arn gave Sting & Nikita credit but they still came up short.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Agent Steel (7/16/88)

Perez is wearing his white tights here which was rare and he gets a strong win.

Luger is out next for a promo talking about the Bash and he takes his shirt off as he gets very angry saying that he is going to get payback on Flair.

The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Rick Allen & Gary Phelps (7/16/88)

Total destruction and they talk to Crockett afterwards about getting back their Six-Man Tag Titles with Dusty and that they will take on anyone and everyone. Hawk then calls out Ronnie Garvin saying they would make him snore for turning on Dusty.

Jim Cornette comes out next with Jim Ross celebrating getting the US Tag Titles back.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. David Spearman & JC Wilde (7/16/88)

MX are champs again and destroy these guys. Cornette then talks to David Crockett afterwards talking about how he told everyone they were getting their belts back. Cornette said that they have beaten all the teams except the world champs but it's hard to beat them when you can't get a match with them. Foreshadowing.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Tommy Royal (7/16/88)

Nikita kills this guy and talks to David Crockett afterwards saying that he may not be a champion but they beat up the champions. Nikita then talks about Ronnie Garvin and how payback is coming.
