Ivan vows to finish the job and Paul tells he better do it because he will find people that will do the job.The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Chris Champion & Tommy Royal (7/19/88)Chris Champion doing jobs here is so sad. Fants look great here and the finish is odd as Rogers comes in and just schoolboys Royal for the 3 count right off a tag."Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin vs. Tommy Angel (7/19/88)Garvin faking tossing his towel to the fans then throwing it to Gary Hart is great. Garvin always worked like an asshole so his style didn't need to change when he turned and he just tortured Angel here.Gary Hart along with Garvin & Al Perez then go to David Crockett after the match saying that their goal is to get rid of Dusty Rhodes forever and sent out a warning to Dr. Death not to mess with them.Cornette comes out with the MX next talking about being the US Tag Champs and Cornette talks about how the MX wants the NWA World Tag Titles and they have been waiting for someone to beat Arn & Tully but that hasn't happened yet so they want a shot. Cornette brings up that Eaton is Arn's best friend and that everyone should be friends but the titles could change that. This is a great promo and extra material."Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. David Isley (7/19/88)Perez totally dominates Isley here. Then we get a taped promo from Dusty talking about Ronnie Garvin turning on him at the Bash and now he has to worry about another bounty hunter. Dusty said it's time to really get funky like a monkey. The Rock n Roll Express (Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton) vs. Agent Steel & George South (7/19/88)RnR look very strong here and they talk to David Crockett after the match about wanting those NWA World Tag Titles saying that the MX want the belts but they need to go through them first. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Rick Allen & JC Wilde (7/19/88)Another mercy killing for the Roadies then they join Crockett after the match talking about what the MX said as well and they are the true #1 contenders. Hawk tells Ronnie Garvin that he might need to leave the business to save his life. Ellering talks about how much he loves Dusty and that he is their friend is great.NWA World TV Title: Mike Rotundo © vs. Gary Phelps (7/19/88)Steiner & Sullivan lend a hand here even though Rotundo doesn't need to beat this guy. Steiner jumps in the ring and hits a big Steinerline and Teddy Long doesn't even DQ him...hilarious. The VC then join Crockett afterwards talking about Dusty of course.Tully Blanchard vs. Ryan Wagner (7/19/88)Tully wins very easily with the Slingshot Suplex.Dillon comes out next with Arn & Tully and he said that he doesn't think that Cornette is serious with his challenge. Arn then gets on the mic that he and Bobby Eaton are best friends and he is his biggest fan but don't take demented ramblings and make them his own. Tully then talks about how they don't stay at $6 hotels. Extra material.Barry Windham vs. Dale Laperhouse (7/19/88)Windham wins very quickly and along with Dillon talks about their issues with Dusty and that again he didn't need help from Garvin to keep his title."Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Keith Steinborn (7/19/88)Luger uses the Torture Rack to win easily then cuts a promo on Flair afterwards saying that he will get another shot at Flair and he will win next time."Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff, Sting, & "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Cruel Connection #2, The Green Hornet, & Larry Stephens (7/19/88)What a jobber team that is and they present no problems for the babyfaces."Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Curtis Thompson (7/19/88)A rare Flair singles match on TBS and he looks awesome here. Tony & Ross put over on commentary that they think that Flair had to wrestle on TV to prove to himself that he is better than Luger. Flair & Dillon then talked to Crockett afterwards that Ted Turner had to be overjoyed to have Flair wrestle on TV.
