Cornette and the MX start the show talking about their upcoming match with the Horsemen where he said the Four Horsemen vitamins are Flintstone vitamins. Cornette then rips on Gary Hart as well. Classic Cornette. Extra material.

Ricky Morton vs. Lee Ramsey (8/10/88)

Morton is working solo as Gibson has quit the company because he was upset at some low paydays in his mind. Morton looks good here. David talks to Morton after the match who talks about doing his own thing before Nikita Koloff comes out and talks about teaming with Morton which was quite the odd couple.

The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner, Mike Rotundo, & Kevin Sullivan) vs. Rick Allen, Gary Phelps, & Don Valentine (8/10/88)

Gary Hart comes out with the VC and the VC especially Sullivan destroy these guys. Steiner nearly killed Valentine with a overhead Belly-To_Belly.

Luger is out next for a promo saying that his life is at an all-time high as he can touch the NWA World Heavyweight Title because it's that close to him.

Brad Armstrong vs. David Spearman (8/10/88)

Brad looks good yet again.

Paul Jones and the Russian Assassin are out next for a promo talking about how Ivan Koloff has let him down lately and that he must prove himself. Jones vows to get rid of the Road Warriors.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Max McGyver (8/10/88)

Perez is rolling right now and this match is no exception. Gary Hart & Al Perez talk to David Crockett after the match about Dusty Rhodes and they know they can do the job to get rid of him.

Barry Windham vs. Curtis Thompson (8/10/88)

Arn & Tully cut a promo during this match about the MX and this is quite the promo as Arn just buries the MX. Windham just manhandles Thompson before finishing him with th Iron Claw.

Crockett talks to Windham & Dillon after the match about Sting coming for the US Title and Windham said that he doesn't need the claw to win as he can win with any move in his arsenal.

Next we get a group Horsemen promo which was always fun. Flair is great here.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Jerry Price (8/10/88)

Perez gets another big TV win and along with Gary Hart talk to Crockett afterwards about Dusty Rhodes and how they will get rid of him.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Jim Boss & The Menace (8/10/88)

JIM BOSS makes his TBS debut and at this time he was getting a small push by The Assassin in Deep South Wrestling. Fants of course look strong getting the win.

Luger is out next with David Crockett for a promo talking about getting the NWA Title and that Flair is on borrowed time.

Russian Assassin vs. Robbie Auman (8/10/88)

Total squash and Paul Jones again buries Ivan Koloff after the match for not giving 100% and that he needs to get it together.

Ricky Morton vs. David Spearman (8/10/88)

Morton gets another good singles win and he talks to Crockett after the match about wanting to go after Ric Flair again saying that he hasn't forgotten what happened 2 years before.

Italian Stallion & Kendall Windham vs. Keith Steinborn & Don Valentine (8/10/88)

Spotlight match for the babyfaces.

Mike Rotundo & Kevin Sullivan join Crockett next with Rotundo saying that Steiner is where he should be in the back hanging in the doghouse.

Florida Heavyweight Title: "Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner © vs. Tony Suber (8/10/88)

Steiner picking up the NWA World TV Title and spitting on it before the match was funny. A title match on TV with Suber is odd too. Sullivan & Rotundo help of course but Steiner is way too much for Suber.

David Crockett interviews Ric Flair next about Luger with the other Horsemen joining him as Flair talks about beating all the other big men that has come in his path. Flair is awesome here. Extra material.

Brad Armstrong vs. Max McGyver (8/10/88)

Another easy win for Brad.

The Sheeps cut a promo next talking about how they should be getting the NWA World Tag Titles shot not the MX and Butch Miller basically said that Cornette was giving sexual favors to get it.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Bear Collie & The Black Shadow (8/10/88)

Eaton turning Shadow's mask around and just beating his ass was awesome. This squash match is completely amazing. Cornette then cuts an amazing promo afterwards saying that Dillon has had so many facelifts he has nipples on his chin. Slam dunk extra.

NWA World TV Title: "Captain" Mike Rotundo © vs. Rick Allen (8/10/88)

Steiner & Sullivan of course would get involved and Steiner even played referee a little.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Russ Tyler (8/10/88)

Nikita breaking out his red tights for the first time in 2 years was a nice touch before he killed this guy. Nikita cuts a promo afterwards talking about what's going on in the NWA and how he & Ricky Morton are going for some belts.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Brad & Brett Holiday (8/10/88)

Sheeps destroy these guys.
