This was pretty fucking ridiculous because he was working on other promotions TV."Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff & Ricky Morton vs. Max McGyver & Jerry Price (8/24/88)Koloff & Morton is such an odd team to watch but they work very well together as a yin and yang team. Crockett talks to them after the match about them going for some tag team gold down the line.Russian Assassin vs. Brett Holiday (8/24/88)Another easy squash for the Assassin. Crockett talks to Paul Jones afterwards and he talks about how Ivan Koloff is to blame for his bad Summer. Jones said he could've gotten rid of the Road Warriors if he wrestled but he was using his brains. Morton comes out and accepts Jones' challenge for a Russian Chain Match saying he would wrestle all of them.Next we get clips of Stan Lane vs. Curtis Thompson on NWA Pro featuring the angle where the Horsemen attacked Bobby Eaton in the locker room. Cornette and the MX then join Ross for a promo and they are pissed off with Cornette being amazing while Eaton had a shitty looking makejob on his face. Definite extra.Florida Heavyweight Title: "Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner © vs. Keith Steinborn (8/24/88)Steiner defending his title on TV every week is great and he just mauls this poor guy."Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Gary Royal (8/24/88)Al is very impressive here.Crockett then interviews Dillon next talking about all the challengers the Horsemen have but he deflects saying that the MX have a lot of challengers as well. Dillon said that the Horsemen will take care of their foes."The Enforcer" Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs. Brad Holiday & Lee Ramsey (8/24/88)Arn & Tully just destroy these guys. The best part of this match is Masanori Horie being shown on TV with Tony shouting him out saying this was his first trip to the US.Crockett talks to Arn & Tully after the match about beating down Eaton in the locker room and that they did it because they had to send a message. Arn is fantastic here. Extra material.Brad Armstrong vs. Gary Phelps (8/24/88)Brad continues his hot streak here and Crockett interviews him afte the match talking about Perez trying to strangle him. Brad tells them to bring it on.Gary Hart, Al Perez, & Kevin Sullivan are out next with a dog collar which Sullivan is wearing and they talk about Dusty "injuring" Ronnie Garvin putting him out of action for many months. Now they are looking for revenge against Dusty using a dog collar with clips from World Wide where Sullivan used the golden spike on Dusty. Sullivan is completely nuts here.Dusty then comes out next for a follow up where he said that Ronnie Garvin learned the hard way and now his mission is to get rid of Hart, Perez, & Sullivan.Sting vs. Cruel Connection I (Gary Royal) (8/24/88)Royal doing double duty here and he jumps Sting to start but that didn't last long as Sting killed him. Sting joins Crockett after the match and whispers because he doesn't want to scare Barry Windham as he wants his title then of course he screams loudly at David.Luger is out next for a promo with Crockett saying that he is going to throw Flair off his mountain. Luger said he wasn't going to take his shirt off but of course he did and said that he wanted Flair at his best when he beat him."Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. The Menace (8/24/88)Doc steamrolls this poor masked man.Flair is out next for a promo about what Luger said earlier and he said that he made 2 million the last year as well as he said that he would for president soon. Flair talking about how much everyone makes and how Luger is so awesome is so great. Extra material."Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin vs. Agent Steel (8/24/88)Jim Ross talking about Brad Muster and his hero Flair was great during this match. Garvin wins quickly with the Brainbuster.NWA World TV Title: Mike Rotundo © vs. Eddie Sweat (8/24/88)Sullivan gets his shots in as Rotundo mauls this guy. Crockett talks to Rotundo & Sullivan afterwards about Dr. Death coming for his title with Rotundo saying that Doc pays off the referees all the time. Rotundo wants the match to happen in New York.
