Jim Crockett is out next and announces that John Ayers will be the special referee for the upcoming Luger/Flair matches with Luger coming out to follow saying that he is very happy about this choice. Luger then talks about how the fans drive him every match as the match goes on and he needs their support. No shirt was taken off here either.

Another impressive win for Big Ron who after the match again talks about how everyone needs to stay off drugs.

LEE SCOTT!!!! making his debut here on TBS and the Fants put him away to win the match.

John Ayers comes out next talking to Tony Schiavone about his role as a referee in the upcoming Flair/Luger matches.

David Crockett interviews Kevin Sullivan next who is wearing a dog collar and he is coming for Dusty Rhodes.

Dusty then comes out wearing a TEXAS TASTE FESTIVAL shirt that has a big hot pepper on it. Dusty then brings David over to the ring saying he had to apologize to the ugly fat woman from last week saying his mama told him to look in the mirror. Dusty put on his good glasses then yelled and ran away. TREMENDOUS. Definite extra.

Russian Assassin vs. Keith Steinborn (9/7/88)

Assassin mauls this guy then along with Paul Jones joins David Crockett talking about Russian Assassin #2 joining the fold and how Ivan Koloff failed him.

Dillon joins David Crockett next for a promo talking about the MX/Horsemen matches which aren't happening after this airdate.

Barry Windham & Dillon join David Crockett next talking about Sting & Ron Simmons and that Windham will end both of their careers early if they continue to mess with him.

Brad Armstrong & Ricky Morton vs. Agent Steel & The Menace (9/7/88)

Here are Brad & Ricky together as a team which they did quite a few times on house shows in this era and they looked solid together.

Flair is out next for a promo talking about John Ayers being the referee for his matches with Luger talking about how much he respects Ayers but he will attack him if he gets in his way.

The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner & Mike Rotundo) vs. David Isley & Larry Stephens (9/7/88)

Steiner's character is starting to change at this time and Rotundo is bossing him around a whole lot more. Steiner does all the work here but Sullivan demanded that Rotundo get the tag in and the pinfall.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Don Valentine (9/7/88)

Doc totally dominates this guy and talks to David Crockett afterwards about wanting Rotundo's NWA World TV Title.

Nikita is out next with David Crockett talking about how he has a lot on his mind some he wants to talk about and some he doesn't want to talk about. Nikita now talks about the Russian Assassins and how he and Ricky Morton want to take them on.

"Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko vs. Tony Suber (9/7/88)

Zbyszko back from an absence and he gets an easy win on Suber.

Gary Hart comes out next holding the dog collar and said that everybody is scared of Al Perez and the collar. Hart then calls out Ron Simmons saying that he must not want the chance which brings out Simmons who accepts the challenge for next week.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Mike Justice (9/7/88)

Justice is a tall jobber with a good luck but Perez takes him out with relative ease. Hart, Perez, & Sullivan talk to Crockett after the match where they talk about how Ron Simmons is out of his world.
