Animal is foreshadowing a heel turn with Hawk saying they would beat anyone up to get the belts.Barry Windham vs. Agent Steel (9/15/88)Windham wins fairly quickly with the Flying Lariat and along with Dillon join David Crockett afterwards talking about Sting being in his way. Dillon also said that the Four Horsemen will continue to move forward in wrestling.Sting vs. Jerry Price (9/15/88)Sting looks very impressive here and talks to David Crockett after the match about wanting to knock off Barry Windham to win the US Title. Sting buried Price for having skinny spandex and he saw his underwear.The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Cruel Connection #1 (Gary Royal) & Curtis Thompson (9/15/88)MX wearing both tag belts to the ring and they are the best right now. Lane & Thompson doing a test of strength handshake to start the match was great and the MX finished the match strongly. Cornette then talks to Crockett after the match about being the best team in the world and he is on fire. Cornette then tries to kiss Crockett for his mother and they wrestle which was hilarious. Extra material.Luger is out next talking about how the MX started the movement to rid the Horsemen of their titles and he said that he & Sting would be next taking Flair & Windham's belts respectively. Luger knows he can beat Flair and will not rest until he does it.The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Joe Griffin & Mike Justice (9/15/88)Fants look great yet again here."Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Eddie Sweat (9/15/88)Nikita wins with the Russian Sickle very quickly.Nikita then talks to Crockett about Luger & Sting being future champs before he talks about the situation with Uncle Ivan and saving him from a beating by the Assassins. Nikita said that Ivan is a good man and if he said he needs no help then he will need no help. This transitions to the Straight Talk with The Boss with Magnum & Ivan about the situation with Paul Jones then Ivan talks about respecting Magnum and shaking his hand before going off on Jones. Extra material.Brad Armstrong & "Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Terry Jones & Keith Steinborn (9/15/88)This era was full of the makeshift babyface tag teams especially with these two in particular but they work very well together.Ric Flair is out next with David Crockett talking about his yacht...ripping on Luger and the Roadies and said that if you want to see him naked you pay $20. This is quite the promo and extra material.The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner, Mike Rotundo, & Kevin Sullivan) vs. Bruce Hollis, Randy Mulkey, & Gary Royal (9/15/88)Royal doing double duty again and Randy Mulkey returning after a long absence. The VC beat up on these guys and Steiner is in full babyface turn deal as he wears his belt backwards then comes in the ring still wearing the belt beating on these guys. Steiner leading the anti-Syracuse chants was fun too."Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez vs. Max McGyver (9/15/88)Sullivan runs out with the dog collar and whips McGyver on the floor which was a fun start. Perez then finished him off quickly. Gary Hart & Perez cut a promo afterwards talking about Dusty Rhodes and how they plan on destroying him.The Russian Assassins (Angel of Death & Jack Victory) vs. Italian Stallion & Max Miles (9/15/88)Total squash and we even get a loaded mask finish. Crockett then asks Paul Jones to hand over the object afterwards which Paul scoffed at before talking about his battles with Ivan Koloff. Crockett cuts Paul off as they have to go which was funny.
