Simmons toys with Menace before finally finishing him off.

Dusty is out next joined by Simmons talking about the Varsity Club wanting Simmons as well as Burt Reynolds loving Ron while Dusty loves his women. Dusty also talks about staying off the drugs.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Jerry Price & Keith Steinborn (10/5/88)

The Fants at this time was as good as any tag team in the world and they looked it here. This is followed by clips of a Fants/Sheepherders match from World Wide.

"Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch vs. Cruel Connection #1 (Gary Royal) (10/5/88)

Murdoch turns his mask around sideways which was great then hits the Brainbuster on Cruel saying that it was for Barry Switzer the head coach of Oklahoma. Murdoch threatens to take off the mask and lets go of it.

Ric Flair joins David Crockett next for a promo where he talks about how Oklahoma was going to make Texas the laughing stock of college football which was hilarious. Flair then talks about how he was glad the weather was getting colder because Luger now has to wear longer shirts. Flair then calls Bam Bam Bigelow fatso and fatboy then rips on him again talking about being in the big time before coming there which sets him off again. Extra material.

Sir Oliver Humperdink is out next for a promo talking about Flair being scared of Bigelow and we get a Bigelow squash from World Wide. Humpy then talks about Flair dying his hair all the time which was funny.

Russian Assassin #1 (Angel of Death) vs. Brett Holiday (10/5/88)

Total squash.

Luger comes out next wearing his long white shirt and warns Flair that he isn't going anywhere.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Mike Justice & JD Wilde (10/5/88)

Sheeps just maul these guys and talk to David Crockett afterwards about wanting to destroy the Fantastics and win the US Tag Titles tournament.

NWA World TV Title: "Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner © vs. Curtis Thompson (10/5/88)

They are doing the same deal as last week with Steiner defending for Rotundo where Steiner is furthering his babyface turn. Sullivan on commentary talked about they have to do tough love with Steiner as motivation and told Ross that it worked perfectly. Sullivan & Rotundo celebrating like Mike won the match was great.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Agent Steel & Mike Jackson (10/5/88)

Cornette is great on commentary as the MX win this easily then Cornette joins David Crockett after the match where he had a paper sack where he had some groceries to go with the tennis racket since Dillon said he would eat it. Extra material.

Barry Windham vs. Gary Royal (10/5/88)

Royal pissed off Windham so Barry finished him off quickly with a Flying Lariat. Dillon & Windham joined Crockett afterwards and this feud with Cornette killed Dillon as a manager basically because Cornette was just wasting him on promos and Dillon was out of his class trying to come up with retorts. Windham then talked about his US Title challengers like Dusty, Sting, & Bigelow.

"Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff vs. Blue Demon (10/5/88)

This ain't the famous Blue Demon as it's a guy in a blue mask in red tights who gets killed by Nikita. The Koloffs then cut a promo after the match wanting to get payback on Paul Jones and his men.

"Living Legend' Larry Zbyszko vs. Eddie Sweat (10/5/88)

Larry wins this very easily and after the match Gary Hart and his boys join Crockett where Gary talks about bringing in the biggest and blackest man he knows soon to take care of some business. Perez said that he doesn't need Hart and Zbyszko said that women should keep their mouths shut just ask Mike Tyson.
