The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. David Isley & Mike Justice (10/18/88)

Standard MX great squash here and after the match Cornette talks about they have to cheat to beat the other people from cheating them first. Cornette then said that they can't beat the Roadies but the Roadies definitely have to beat them to win the titles.

Jimmy Garvin on crutches, Precious, & Eddie Gilbert are out next talking about his recovery then Gilbert does an Elvis impersonation talking about coming after the Varsity Club and getting Rick Steiner back where he belongs and that's with him.

"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert vs. Tommy Angel (10/18/88)

Gilbert toyed with Angel before finally putting him away with the Hot Shot. Garvin even got some shots in as well.

Then we get a commercial for the NWA tiein with Roddy Piper's They Live movie which was fueling all kinds of Piper to NWA rumors for months.

Humperdink is out next for a promo talking about Cornette being a wimp and the one pattern that has been going on the past few weeks is no Bigelow in the studio as they are showing taped matches but Bigelow was working for New Japan which was bad timing for a tour so quick after his debut. Humperdink then challenges Windham for a match as well as Flair.

Barry Windham vs. Bob Riddle (10/18/88)

Windham is dominant here and along with Dillon they join Crockett after the match talking about Windham defending his title against Dusty & Bigelow and he will beat both of them big men if they make him wrestle them.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Mike Jackson & Jerry Price (10/18/88)

Jackson looks good here but Price is treated as a total jobber and the Fants yet again show why they were one of the best teams in the world at this time. Fants cut a promo afterwards about the upcoming US Tag Titles tournament and they definitely plan on winning it. Tommy Rogers talking about the Home of the Free and Land of the Brave was something else.

Luger is out next for a promo back to wearing a tanktop talking about Sting and the Road Warriors and how they will get their payback.

The Varsity Club (Rick Steiner & Mike Rotundo) vs. Brad & Brett Holiday (10/18/88)

The fans love them some Steiner and they work together better here than they have recently although Steiner wanted to get the pin after the match. Then we get a promo from the Varsity Club afterwards where they argue while Sullivan talks about Garvin & Precious coming back then Steiner talks about how Steiner is getting money stolen from him. Sullivan is great here playing the traffic cop. Extra material.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez & "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko vs. Rick Allen & Eddie Sweat (10/18/88)

Perez & Zbyszko are getting better as a team every week and they show it here. Then we get a promo from the heels afterwards about coming for the US Tag Titles and they think they could beat any team in the world. Hart then talks about Abdullah the Butcher is coming in to take care of his problems.

"Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff vs. The Executioner (10/18/88)

This masked jobber looks hilarious and Ivan just destroys this fat guy. Ivan said that he knows that Paul Jones tried to take him out with that big guy. Ivan said that he & Nikita want those US Tag Titles and will do whatever they could to keep the Russian Assassins from winning them.

Italian Stallion vs. Gary Royal (10/18/88)

Spotlight match for Stallion who uses a popup powerbomb as his finisher basically.

Then we get a taped promo from the Roadies who say that they don't care what anyone thinks and never needed anybody's support to begin with. Extra material.

The Russian Assassins (Angel of Death & Jack Victory) vs. Bob Emory & Keith Steinborn (10/18/88)

Total squash and Jones cuts a promo after the match talking about how beating down the Koloffs makes him happy.

The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. Bruce Hollis & Terry Jones (10/18/88)

Sheeps manhandle these guys and then cut a promo where they hold up a poster where someone drew a cartoon of the Sheeps & Rip flushing the United States down the toilet. Butch then talks about all the regional tag titles they held which was great.

Ron Simmons vs. George South (10/18/88)

South flexing on Simmons before the match then Simmons squashing in seconds was great. Simmons then said after the match that he is getting better and better and he wants a title shot when it comes to him.
