Posted July 11, 20169 yr comment_5759091 The Original Midnight Express ("Loverboy" Dennis Condrey & "Ravishing" Randy Rose) vs. Rick Allen & Jerry Price (11/3/88)The OMX make their TBS in-ring debut here with Dangerously and they look awesome. Crockett interviews Paul E. after the match for his first big interview on TBS. Extra material.Barry Windham vs. Curtis Thompson (11/3/88)Windham systematically takes apart Thompson looking like a million bucks here. After the match, Dillon cuts a big promo on Humperdink which leads to him & Bigelow coming out and Bigelow jacks Windham's jaw before they go to the ring for a fun little brawl. Dusty then comes out joining them for a promo talking like Little Richard and saying they will take care of business.NWA World TV Title: "Captain" Mike Rotundo © vs. David Isley (11/3/88)Sullivan is wearing Steiner's Michigan jacket at ringside which makes Steiner happy. Steiner sits with the fans during the match and the fans really love him. Rotundo wins with the Butterfly Suplex and then we get a promo from the VC afterwards where Steiner snaps saying that he can beat anyone especially Sullivan & Rotundo. Definite extra.Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Bill Holiday (11/3/88)Bammer looks very impressive taking out this jobber. The Sheeps are out next with Rip Morgan talking yet again about wanting to win the US Tag Titles and completing their invasion of the USA."Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Trent Knight (11/3/88)The girls love them some Luger as he takes out Knight with the Torture Rack. Luger then talks to David Crockett afterwards about the Roadies saying he is sick and tired of hearing them talk about doing things but not actually doing it. Luger said that Sting will be back and they aren't scared."Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. George South (11/3/88)They really made it a big deal that Flair was working on TV and South was always a fun opponent for Flair to work against. Flair gives South a ton of offense and makes him look like he was a contender. This was Flair being awesome as an opponent and letting South shine. I think this was a great performance from Flair and I think this should be on the set somehow...Low-end nomination.Flair then cuts a promo after the match talking about this is real life where people get injured, go broke, and have it hard. Flair then talks about how much he hates Bigelow personally and now Dusty Rhodes has aligned with him which brings out Windham where Flair talks about hooking up with the Road Warriors down the line.Abdullah the Butcher vs. Randy Hogan (11/3/88)The fake Hogan gets destroyed and then Gary Hart has a hard time controlling him after the match when he talks to Crockett. Abby eats part of the desk which was wild.Cornette and the MX come out next talking about what happened the previous week. Cornette then cuts maybe the greatest promo of his life here where the MX became official babyfaces. This is a masterpiece. Slam dunk extra."Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & Ron Simmons vs. Brett Holiday & Gary Royal (11/3/88)Gilbert & Simmons was always a weird team to me but they worked pretty well together. The Road Warriors are out next for a promo talking about what Luger was saying earlier saying that Luger & Sting are bodybuilders as they have fighting muscles. Hawk said that they are scared and that Luger isn't a man.The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. Agent Steel & Terry Jones (11/3/88)Fants come out with the flag again and get another good TV win before joining Crockett talking about winning the US Tag Titles and getting rid of the Sheeps.
