This was Nikita's last match on TBS until coming back in 1991.Next we get a Starrcade 88 update."Total Package" Lex Luger & Sting vs. Brian Adams & Jerry Price (11/24/88)Luger is pumped up because he has another shot at Flair at Starrcade. Luger & Sting look very good here as a team and Crockett interviews them after the match about the Roadies trying to injure Sting and that they are going to get revenge on them. Luger then talks about how Flair can't duck him anymore and he will beat him at Starrcade.The Commandoes (Grizzly Boone & Ray Candy) vs. Randy Mulkey & Eddie Sweat (11/24/88)This is the debut of the Commandoes on WCW and they totally maul these guys. This is also your Sheepherders replacement team as well.Ric Flair joins David Crockett next talking about how will be wrestling Luger at Starrcade and how he is upset that he doesn't know the stipulation for their match beforehand. Flair then talks about how Sugar Ray Leonard & Mike Tyson ask for his autograph because he is the real champion. Extra material.Barry Windham & JJ Dillon are out next talking about his issues with the NWA over Flair and Bigelow/Humpderink trying to pull shenanigans to get a match with Windham. Barry said that he wants the match and he would beat him.Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Keith Steinborn (11/24/88)Bammer wins easily then along with Humperdink talk to Crockett about Windham saying the only way that Bammer would win would be to jump him from behind. Humperdink said that Bigelow would win the title anyway he needs to.The Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) vs. Brad & Brett Holiday (11/24/88)OMX again have a dominating performance here. Paul E. talks to Crockett after the match with his boys about the upcoming Starrcade match against the MX and he shits on Cornette some before saying that the real Midnight Express would reign supreme. Extra material.The Varsity Club (Mike Rotundo & Steve Williams) vs. Rick Anderson & Mike Jackson (11/24/88)Another strong win for the VC with help from Sullivan who after the match cuts a promo on Steiner demanding he come out and fight them.The Road Warriors are out next with Ellering talking about taking out Luger & Sting and Animal talks about Dusty saying that he will get his soon. Dusty then comes out and said that he doesn't want to wait for a fight and he demands that Animal get in the ring and fight now. The Roadies come back out and Animal jumps for a brawl with Dusty with Hawk jumping in and this is where Animal pulls off the spike and uses it on Dusty and they try to put his eye out bloodying him up. The other babyfaces would run out to make the save and this was the angle that go Dusty Rhodes fired as TBS received over 300 angry phone calls from fans. Slam dunk extra."Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner vs. Joe Cruz (11/24/88)Ross mentions Steiner's friend Alex for the first time which is his hand of course and Steiner mauls Cruz. Steiner calls Rotundo "Mike Retardo" and cuts an incoherent promo after the match.The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Max Miles & Rip Morgan (11/24/88)Poor Rip has become a jobber now that the Sheeps have left. Eaton had been out with a knee injury and makes his return here looking good as the MX destroy these guys.Ross talks to the Roadies next where Hawk threatens to put Ross' eyes out and they have Dusty's blood all over their hands refusing to watch it off and talk about doing worse things to Dusty soon. Extra material.Paul Jones & Russian Assassins are out next talking about the Koloffs and they will beat them as they won't lose their masks and Jones won't retire.The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. The Cruel Connection (Gary Royal & George South) (11/24/88)The Fants now work these guys in their masks after working them unmasked the week before and the match was pretty much the same as the Fants dominated. Fants cut a promo after the match talking about facing Gilbert & Simmons and they want a clean match. Rogers then talks about what happened with Dusty and told the Roadies they were disgusted.
