MX look great here taking about the future Gangrel and his partner.The Varsity Club is out next with their newest member in Dangerous Danny Spivey and they talk about Chi-Town Rumble where they will get all the gold. They know they have the Roadies frustrated and they are now vulnerable with Rotundo saying that Steiner is his."Dangerous" Danny Spivey vs. Tony Suber (2/12/89)Spivey dominates the big man Suber looking very impressive.Luger is out next for a promo saying that he feels like that now is the time for him to get the title belt that he has been needing the past year and he would get that US Title from Windham in his hometown at the Chi-Town Rumble.Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat vs. Jerry Price (2/12/89)Steamer has Richie with him and he looks great putting away Price.The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) vs. Julio Barrera & Nasty Ned Brady (2/12/89)NASTY NED makes his TBS debut and these guys get destroyed by the Roadies who are pissed off. The Roadies then cut a promo after the match about how the VC talk big and bad and that they plan on destroying them at Chi-Town Rumble.Sting vs. Max McGyver (2/12/89)As Sting picks apart McGyver, Butch Reed comes out and said that he is better than ever and that he was going to take Sting out at the Chi-Town Rumble.Flair, Windham, & Hiro Matsuda are out next talking about Chi-Town Rumble with Flair saying that he respects Steamer but they are different in every way and that Flair acts like what a true world champ should act like. Good stuff and extra material.Barry Windham vs. Allen Kinsey (2/12/89)Windham looks awesome here and sadly he is soon to be leaving.Cornette and the MX cut a promo next about their match at the Chi-Town Rumble where Lane does a good chunk of talking which was nice. Cornette said that the OMX couldn't shine the MX's boots. Extra material.Vincent Young vs. Trent Knight (2/12/89)Vincent is the son of Chief Jay Strongbow aka Mark Scarpa aka Mark Young and he is in American flag gear. Knight gives Young a fight but Young would win with a sleeper hold then did some breakdancing which got boos from the fans. Hilarious.The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu) vs. Bob Emory & Dale Laperhouse (2/12/89)The SST make their debut here and they just beat the everloving piss out of these guys. The heel managers lining up watching the SST was great too. The fans losing their minds for the SST's power moves is something to watch. Samu using a 2nd rope DDT in 1989 was awesome. This was a hellvua squash.Sting is out next for a promo saying that wrestling is better when you have two opposite guys facing each other not two goodie goodies having a clean match. Sting is excited that Reed is scouting him.Matsuda is out next with the Windham Brothers and he talks some Japanese while Barry said that Luger looks great but he knows him better than anyone so it's no question that he will still be champ."Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Keith Steinborn (2/12/89)Luger is very strong here taking out Steinborn.Paul E. is out next for a promo again promising to end Cornette's career.Michael "PS" Hayes & "Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch vs. Mac Anderson & El Negro (2/12/89)Murdoch wrestling someone calling themselves Negro is funny for many reasons. Paul E. stays with Ross and does commentary and is hilarious with Hayes yelling out Bye Bye Paul E. which popped the crowd.Steamer is out next and said that he has all the motivation in the world to win the NWA Title and he will do it at Chi-Town Rumble.Abdullah the Butcher vs. Rick Allen (2/12/89)Abby totally mauls this guy."Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner vs. The Cruel Connection (Gary Royal & George South) (2/12/89)Gilbert & Steiner have reunited and they look very solid here working over the masked men. Gilbert & Steiner then talked to Ross after the match with Gilbert saying that 1989 is going to be a great year for him and that Steiner is going to stay NWA TV Champ.
