Gary Hart comes out to start the show with Hiro Matsuda and a mysterious figure named Great Mota with Hart saying this will be the greatest man he ever managed. Definite extra.

"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert & "Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner vs. The Enforcer & Max McGyver (3/12/89)

Another strong win for Gilbert & Steiner.

Sting is out next for a promo talking about how was goofing off in 1988 but he is serious in 1989.

The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu) vs. Rick Allen & Mike Justice (3/12/89)

SST were too much for these guys obviously.

The Varsity Club is out next for a promo talking about all kinds of shit but mainly Rotundo defending his $10,000 and NWA World TV Title. Chip Burnham is out as the VC accountant which is hilarious and the line that Burnham doesn't like to give out money with Sullivan agreeing heavily was great. Extra material.

Ranger Ross vs. Lee Scott (3/12/89)

Ross makes his debut against the returning Lee Scott and he looked very good hitting the Combat Kick for the win.

Next we get The Danger Zone featuring the Junkyard Dog where Paul E. does the old Piper act of asking questions and answering the questions himself until the guest got tired of it and leaves.

Ranger Ross joins Magnum next for a promo talking about how he served his military time and he wants the Iron Sheik.

Iron Sheik vs. Dewayne Bruce (3/12/89)

Bruce of course is the future Buddy Lee Parker and Sheiky mauls him.

Sting vs. Snake Brown (3/12/89)

Sting debuts his definitive music here as the fans go nuts for him and SNAKE BROWN IS HOME!!!!! first time on TBS in 4 years. Sting telling Snake that he was a wild one and he loved it was a great moment.

Jim Ross interviews Ricky Steamboat next backstage at The Omni and talks about his upcoming match with Ric Flair. This is a good promo. Extra material.

NWA World TV Title: "Captain" Mike Rotundo © vs. Richard Sartain (3/12/89)

Gilbert & Steiner come out before the match talking about how Rotundo won't defend against either of them before leaving. Rotundo takes care of former Deep South Tag Champ Sartain fairly easily here.

Then we get a promo from Ross with Flair backstage at The Omni talking about their upcoming match at the Clash and Flair of course is great here. Extra material.

Steve Casey, Junkyard Dog, & "Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch vs. John Brewer, Chance Myers, & The Raider (3/12/89)

Casey teaming with JYD & Murdoch is a total styles clash but they made it work beating down these jobbers.

The First Family is out next for a promo where Eddie talks about Paul E. following around George Scott all day to get some work

The Varsity Club (Danny Spivey & Steve Williams) vs. Greg Brown & Jerry Price (3/12/89)

Total squash.

The Great Muta vs. Cougar Jay (3/12/89)

Muta makes his TV debut and a legend is born. This is just a taste of what Muta had to offer soon. Extra material.

Rip Morgan & "Hacksaw" Butch Reed vs. Bob Emory & Tony Suber (3/12/89)

Morgan & Reed is quite the makeshift team but they take care of business here. Ross talks to Butch after the match and he said that he would take on anyone.

Barry & Kendall Windham vs. Michael "PS" Hayes & "Total Package" Lex Luger (3/12/89)

This is from The Omni and this is where Hayes joins the Yamazaki Corporation turning on Luger and helping them beat his ass after the match. Hayes cuts a strong promo after the match. Definite extra.
