Dick Murdoch starts the show talking about his issues with Bob Orton Jr. and Gary Hart demands he come in the ring to fight.

"Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch & Bucky Seigler vs. Bob Orton Jr. & Hacksaw Butch Reed (4/10/89)

The heels jump Seigler and his original partner so Murdoch steps on the apron to be Seigler's partner as he is getting mauled by the heels. Murdoch working in pants and shoes eventually tagged in and started throwing awesome punches on the heels including Gary Hart. Murdoch would get caught in the ropes with Hart holding him allowing the heels to come fighting back as Tommy Young threw the match out so they threw him out. Murdoch gets stomped out before going to break.

Sting is out next without his facepaint talking as Rick Steiner comes out and hugs his old friend as they bark and scream. Iron Sheik then shows up with Rip Morgan talking shit as the fans chant USA loudly as he challenges Sting to swing his Persian Clubs and Sting said that he wrestles not swinging clubs.

The Great Muta vs. Greg Evans (4/10/89)

Muta tried to spray Evans in the face with mist but Evans snuck behind him and attacked him. Muta quickly answered this with a back kick then hit the Moonsault to win. Muta is fucking awesome.

Next we get a taped promo from the Roadies about their controversial match at the Clash against the Varsity Club and Teddy Long's actions.

"Secret Service" Jack Victory vs. "Ravishing" Randy Rose (4/10/89)

This is fight at the bell and the crowd is definitely into Randy as Jim Ross talks about how Teddy Long is the referee here but won't referee any more title matches. As the match goes on, Jim Ross talks about Lance Russell Appreciation Night is coming up and that Lance is the best wrestling announcer ever. The match goes to the floor where Victory tried to piledrive Rose on the floor but he countered with a backdrop. Rose is giving Victory everything he has then Paul threw the phone to Victory who swung and missed with it then Victory nailed Rose with the 2nd phone and Long counted the pinfall after watching Victory use it. Fun for what it was.

"Dogfaced Gremlin" Rick Steiner vs. The Raider (4/10/89)

Steiner coming out to Hot Stuff by Donna Summer was something and Steiner had a wild female fan jump on him which was the beginning of the Robin Green angle. Steiner kills Raider and this is extra material.

After the match, Kevin Sullivan goes to Jim Ross angry about Missy Hyatt interfering and that Gilbert is a little boy. Missy calls him a frog then slaps him.

Next we get a taped promo from Flair about the upcoming match with Steamer at Wrestle War. Good stuff as usual. Extra material.

Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat vs. Ron Simmons (4/10/89)

This is an interesting matchup here as it's power against speed. Both men shake hands before the match but as the match goes on, Simmons gets more intense and starts pushing him against the ropes which allowed him to get the advantage as he press slammed Steamer then hit him with a big clothesline. Steamer is in trouble as Simmons is working him over but he missed a big running shoulderblock into the corner and Steamer makes a comeback getting the win on a crucifix. Fun match with a cool finish but not enough for a nomination.

Then we get the big Jim Cornette promo explaining how the MX has been on a down streak lately and they needed to take a break away from the NWA. Cornette said that they were too nice lately and not the MX that the fans wanted to cheer for. Cornette said that they appreciate the support and they are getting their heads on straight then decide what to do next. Definite extra.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Tom Branch (4/10/89)

Funny seeing Tom Branch here in 1989 and Luger makes easy work of him as Hayes heckles him from commentary. Luger then hops the railing after the match and gets in Hayes' face saying that he is tired of him running his mouth and wants a fight. Luger runs in the ring demanding Hayes join him which he does and we get a fun little brawl to close the show.
