NWA World TV Title: Sting © vs. "Secret Service" Jack Victory (5/10/89)

Victory talks shit to Sting before the match and Sting makes him pay for that one. Sting hits a big slingshot plancha on the floor as Gary Hart comes out to join Ross on commentary talking about how Sting will be facing Muta soon in a Dragon-Shi Challenge. Sting hits a big cross body block off the top rope to get the pin and after the match Hart yells at Sting saying that Victory isn't Muta and that wouldn't happen to him. Sting then demands Muta come out right now but Hart said that the Dragon-Shi isn't ready yet so he will wait. Sting doesn't want to wait and Muta shows up spraying mist but Hart keeps him back. This is a fun segment and extra material.

Eddie Gilbert comes out next and talks about how he can't wait for Ric Flair to come back to shut Terry Funk's mouth. Gilbert then talks about Rick Steiner being injured and we get a video of Rick's therapy session on his left arm.

Scott Steiner vs. Tom Branch (5/10/89)

Scott wins in seconds then Sullivan tries to get in the ring but Gilbert runs out with a steel chair and they hold Sullivan off.

Next we get a video for Brian Pillman to OH YEAH!!! by Yello. Definite extra.

Then we get a taped promo from The Party Patrol (Davey & Johnny Rich) challenging the winners of the NWA World Tag Titles tournament.

Terry Funk vs. Eddie Guerrero (5/10/89)

What a match this is as Guerrero gets made to look good by Funk and he bumps his ass off for Terry in response. Eddie hitting a huge plancha from the top rope to the floor on Funk was awesome then he missed a slingshot plancha landing hard on the mat. Funk hit him with a baseball slide sending over the railing then he dropped him with a piledriver on the floor then finished him off a with a kneedrop. Funk then went into the crowd to talk shit to the fans which was wild and this segment was awesome. Funk then cuts a great promo on Flair as well talking about Flair needing to be put out to pasture. Funk also wants to be in the Top 10 and he begs Jim Ross for a spot. Definite extra.

Ranger Ross & Ron Simmons vs. The Enforcer & Lee Scott (5/10/89)

Here is Simmons & Ross together so Simmons isn't a heel just yet. Ross & Simmons look strong here and Scott of course takes a big bump on the Spinebuster.

Next we get another Dynamic Dudes video set to Don't Worry Be Happy. Amazing stuff. Definite extra.

NWA World Tag Titles Tournament - Quarterfinals: The Fabulous Freebirds (Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy & Michael "PS" Hayes) vs. The Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) (5/10/89)

What a quarterfinal match this is and it's a brawl at the bell as the Roadies send the Birds running with the crowd going nuts chanting LOD. Animal & Gordy getting in there battling like two bulls was something before Hayes came in and dropped Animal with a DDT out of nowhere. Animal is now working FIP getting worked over by both Birds until Hawk got the hot tag an ran wild. The SST ran out and jumped Animal then Hawk ran out of the ring and it was a wild brawl with Nick Patrick not calling a DQ but counting out the Roadies which was a stupid decision. Roadies & SST had quite the brawl on the floor though.

Teddy Long is out next talking about how he agreed with Terry Funk in what he did to Flair and he hopes he never comes back. Then we get another Norman video where he acts weird. Extra material.

"Hacksaw" Butch Reed vs. Cougar Jay (5/10/89)

Teddy Long scouts Butch at ringside as Reed destroys Jay who takes some insane bumps to the floor.

World Championship Wrestling 5/27/89

Terry Funk vs. Davey Rich (5/10/89)

Another fun Funk squash match as he lets Rich get some offense in while acting like a maniac. Davey counters a Funk piledriver on the floor and actually looks like he has a shot but Terry would end that soon enough then dropped him with a piledriver. We need a Terry Funk TV match collection on the extras.

Oriental Torture Match: The Great Muta vs. Cougar Jay, Mike Justice, & Trent Knight (5/24/89)

Muta had to beat all three men in 10:00 and this is basically a gauntlet match. This match here made Muta look even more amazing as he just killed these three guys looking like a superstar. Ross on commentary mentions that Danny Spivey has signed with Gary Hart and that Eddie Gilbert has accepted a Dragon-Shi match with Muta. The crowd is getting behind Muta heavy here.

Then we get the Roadies vs. SST from another taping which was a wild all over the building brawl.

Luger then cuts a taped promo next about signing a Badstreet Match and he wants a match with no rules to beat Hayes to get his US Title back.

Scott Steiner vs. "Secret Service" Jack Victory (5/24/89)

Robin Green is at ringside and she has a teddy bear for Rick. Victory does a good job of bumping hard for Scott making him look good. Victory fights back but as he slams Scott from the apron to the ring, Scott tucked and rolled and pinned him.

NWA World Tag Titles Tournament - Quarterfinals: The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu) vs. Ranger Ross & Ron Simmons (5/24/89)

This is a fight at the bell as all four men start slugging away on each other. The faces start out strong but Ross got isolated and was getting worked over when Teddy Long showed up with some papers for Simmons who when Ross goes for a tag drops down and talks to Long. Simmons left Ross hanging and wouldn't answer his call for a tag saying that he would be there in a minute. Ross & Hayes were great in all of this. Ranger goes to the floor and bitches at Simmons saying this is for the belts and he refuses to tag in Ross then walks off with Long as the SST destroy Ross. So we have Long scouting the future Doom and being linked with them but that doesn't happen officially until February 1990.

Next we get a promo from Jim Cornette talking about the MX returning next week in the NWA World Tag Titles Tournament. Extra material.

Then we get a promo from Ric Flair's doctor talking about his neck injury and how serious it was. Extra material.

Terry Funk then comes out for a surprise announcement and he said that he is flying in Ric Flair for next week to tell everyone live about his injury.
