Teddy Long shows up as the match starts and he takes notes on Ross as the Ranger looks strong taking out Bryant with the Combat Kick.

Next we get a clips of a promo from NWA Pro where Missy Hyatt confronts Gary Hart, Muta, & Sullivan and Muta sprayed mist in her face. Missy sold this like death. Extra material.

The Center Stage cult hero known as Great Muta adds another victim in the future Glacier here. Muta is so great at this time.

"Capt. Redneck" Dick Murdoch vs. Fred Avery (6/7/89)

Murdoch takes care of Avery with no problems and then joins Ross & Hayes for a promo about Terry Funk's issues lately. Murdoch then goes over the history with him & Terry and this is good stuff. Extra material.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Lee Scott & Keith Steinborn (6/7/89)

Center Stage goes nuts for the MX who look great here as usual. Teddy Long is at ringside yelling at the camera for this as well.

Then we get a fun promo from Paul E. talking about the MX/SST match at the Clash in a few days.

Next we get a taped promo with Terry Funk & Jim Ross where Ricky Steamboat comes out after Funk rips on his family especially his son which he calls a half breed. Steamer is pissed and Luger comes out saying that he wanted that tape cut immediately. Luger is upset saying that he is upset with the politics and the hierarchy and he is pissed off that he isn't booked on the show. Luger said that you can't have Clash of the Champions without the champions and he us the US Champ so he should be on the show. Luger said that Steamer snuck in the backdoor to become champ and that Flair should either wrestle or give up the belt. Then we go back to Steamer talking to Ross about Funk should be lucky he is ranked. This is great stuff and a definite extra.

Then we get a taped promo from Kevin Sullivan who talks about his upcoming match with Rick Steiner.

The Varsity Club (Mike Rotundo & Kevin Sullivan) vs. Dewayne Bruce & Mark Smith (6/7/89)

The VC beat the hell out of these guys during and after the match until the Steiners ran out for a wild brawl.

Next we get a promo from Wild Bill Irwin talking about winning the NWA World TV Title from him at the Clash.

Wild Bill Irwin vs. Mike Justice (6/7/89)

Irwin gets a spotlight match and takes out Justice easily then whips him with the whip after the match.

NWA World Tag Titles Tournament - Quarterfinals: The Dynamic Dudes (Johnny Ace & Shane Douglas) vs. The New Zealand Militia (Rip Morgan & Jacko Victory) (6/7/89)

This was a short but fun match with both teams looking good. The Dudes pulled a double switch on the finish and paid for it as the Militia attacked them with their boomerangs afterwards.

The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu) vs. "Ravishing" Randy Rose & Bucky Seigler (6/7/89)

This is the debut of the SST using the theme song from Halloween and they just maul these guys then after the match Rose gets the pineapple broken over his head.

Then we get a taped promo from Cornette vowing to win the NWA World Tag Titles at the Clash saying the MX is better than ever.

Teddy Long then cuts another taped promo talking about his two surprises he has in store for the NWA at the Clash.

Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Snake Brown & The Raider (6/7/89)

Rick gives Robin Green his Michigan lettermans jacket before the match then they go to the ring to kill the jobbers. Rotundo & Sullivan then ran out to brawl with them as the show ended.
