August 14, 20169 yr comment_5763331 I did listen to both podcasts and think it's a good job overall. But to be honest, I found the one person podcast just not as interesting as listening to a conversation. That's no knock, just a personal preference.
August 15, 20169 yr comment_5763536 Again, awesome and the lack of response is an indictment of all of you. *GLARES* Okay chuckles. The Koloff-Morales Title change, was there actual audio at the taping as Jim Ross does the commentary on the footage for the WWE Title DVD. Come to think of it, how much footage of Bruno-Koloff exists? Thing I love about the Ross commentary is that he mentions that MSG had a curfew in that era. Completely out of context since it didn't come in play in the match, nor does Ross add any info about how close to said curfew the match was taking place at. I wonder what the TV ratings were, and if there was ever a thought of changing the paradigm of TV hyping the next big (MSG) card as MSG attendance was dropping dramatically, and was other arenas in the circuit feeling the same attendance drops?
August 15, 20169 yr Author comment_5763538 The decline of MSG attendance in the 60s was the result of multiple factors, but having no TV/poor timeslots were the main ones No contemporary commentary for the Morales title win AFAIK.
