The fans don't pop for the Fants like they used to but they get into them as the match goes along and Scott does a great job of bumping for them of course.Flair, Sting, & Ole are out next for a promo about Hallowen Havoc talking about how Ole won't throw in the towel.The Z-Man vs. Gene Ligon (10/4/89)Z-Man continues his hot streak here with the Sleeper hold.Oh man we gotta use the Halloween Havoc video for extra material set to Hells Bells by AC/DC.Dr. Death joins Cornette & Ross next for a promo talking about Halloween Havoc and that he's coming for Luger's US Heavyweight Title.Handicap Match: Sid Vicious vs. Rick Cannon & Ricky Nelson (10/4/89)Sid's run of domination continues here as he kills these guys. Teddy gets in Doc's face and talks shit to him during the match.Next we get the Halloween Havoc control center.Then we get the Roadies & Skyscrapers confrontation from NWA Pro followed up by a promo from the Roadies about wanting to kill the Skyscrapers.Teddy Long & Norman are out next for a promo where Long verbally berates Norman. This is becoming 1988 Rick Steiner all over again.Norman the Lunatic vs. Thad Clark (10/4/89)Norman gets more stuffed animals from kids and Teddy doesn't want him to have them which pisses him off so he takes his anger out on Clark.The Dynamic Dudes (Johnny Ace & Shane Douglas) vs. Joe Cazana & Keith Steinborn (10/4/89)The Freebirds joined Ross for commentary during the match and as the Dudes are taking care of business the Birds jump the Dudes. Cornette then signals for the MX to make the save but they take their time doing it then walk out. The Dudes/MX angle is the best thing going in the promotion fo sure. Extra material.Terry Funk & Gary Hart are out next for a promo about Halloween Havoc where Funk demands that Hart must never throw in the towel under any circumstance. Hart then tells Funk that he better not come to him and blame him for any career ending injuries. Hart asks him many questions about it which Funk said don't throw in the towel. Hart said that it's in public now. Definite extra.The Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy "Jam" Garvin & Michael "PS" Hayes) vs. Italian Stallion & Tony Suber (10/4/89)Very easy win for the Birds with Hayes dropping Suber with a DDT to win it. The Birds then cut a promo after the match about teaching the Dudes a lesson.Next we get a great vignette with Cornette visiting Woman at her hotel room for an interview and this is quite the segment. Cornette grills Woman about why she did what she did to Steiner which she buries him for being a simple moron. Woman then said that Kevin Sullivan got her the men she needed to do her job and she kicked Cornette out. Definite extra."Captain" Mike Rotundo vs. Greg Evans (10/4/89)Rotundo wins fairly easily with the Butterfly Suplex.Then we get clips of the Luger/Pillman brawl from last week. Luger then cuts a taped promo about how Pillman has gotten on his nerves long enough and he will make him pay at Halloween Havoc."Total Package" Lex Luger vs. Richard Sartain (10/4/89)Well Sartain gets his match with Luger after all and he pays for the sins of Pillman as Luger totally destroys him."Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Fred Avery (10/4/89)Doc toys with Avery before dropping him with the Oklahoma Stampede.Next we get Cornette with the MX for a promo with Lane asking Cornette do they need to save anybody else. Cornette & Lane then get into a verbal battle with Lane saying that he is neglecting them for the Dudes. Eaton tries to be the peacemaker and Cornette puts him on the spot but Eaton said that Lane makes a lot of sense. This is great stuff and a definite extra.Flyin Brian Pillman vs. Rusty Riddle (10/4/89)Pillman looks great here winning with the Air Pillman.Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Tommy Angel & Jerry Price (10/4/89)Steiners are fucking machines here just taking these guys apart with hard hitting moves.
