Norman the Lunatic vs. Rusty Riddle (10/17/89)

Norman is wearing funny hats and still getting stuffed animals so he is getting more popular but still squashing guys.

Flag Match: Cuban Assassin vs. Ranger Ross (10/17/89)

Assassin jumps Ross at the bell but Ranger would come fighting back leading to some decent back and forth action. As the match is going on a large blonde haired man jumped Ross then the Cuban laying them both out. This man was Marc Laurinidas and this was a weird angle.

Luger cuts a taped promo next talking about beating Pillman at Halloween Havoc and that Pillman now knows that Luger is the best man in wrestling today. Luger then tells Pillman to come back for more.

Flyin Brian Pillman vs. Richard Sartain (10/17/89)

Pillman had an inset promo before the match talking about coming back for more with Luger. Pillman wins in about 90 seconds with a missile dropkick.

Then we get another taped promo from Woman who talks about what her money can buy and even talks about Ric Flair saying that even though Flair has a lot of money she has a lot more and can persuade him. Extra material.

Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Agent Steel & Bill Ford (10/17/89)

Jim Ross mocking Dusty Rhodes calling Woman a jezebel was hilarious. The Steiners weren't so hilarious to these jobbers as they mauled them.

Terry Funk then cuts a taped promo with Ross next saying that the NWA isn't big enough for both of them and one of them must go so he wants an I Quit Match at the Clash. Extra material.

The Z-Man vs. Pat Rose (10/17/89)

Z-Man puts Rose to sleep as his hot streak rolls on.

Ross then talks to Ric Flair next about what Funk said earlier with Flair saying that Funk will shake his hand and tell him he is the better man. Extra material.

"Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Mark Kyle (10/17/89)

Doc totally squashes Kyle before Teddy Long shows up heckling Doc at ringside. Doc chases him off then takes out Kyle with the Oklahoma Stampede as Long said that he would get Sid on Doc next week.

Doom vs. Johnny Kennedy & George South (10/17/89)

Doom makes their TBS debut here with Woman coming out to Her Strut by Bob Seger which was such a great theme song. Doom being Butch Reed & Ron Simmons was the ultimate worst kept secret in wrestling it was hilarious.

Jim Cornette then tells Jim Ross and everyone else that he can't be in any corner of his teams at the Clash so he is going to stay at home. Lane comes out and has a contract saying that Cornette must be there so Cornette tells the story of why Stan Lane & Johnny Ace had beef. This is really great. Extra material.

Tommy "Wildfire" Rich vs. Lee Scott (10/17/89)

Gary Hart cuts an inset promo before the match talking about Muta defending his TV Title against Rich next week. Scott gets some offense in here and Rich makes him look competitive which was fun. Rich comes through with the Thesz Press though to win the match.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Tommy Angel & Trent Knight (10/17/89)

The Dudes cut an inset promo before the match saying they didn't want the match with the MX but they will do what they have to do. The MX again look very strong here using their old heel tactics.

NWA World TV Title: The Great Muta © vs. Joe Cruz (10/17/89)

We get an inset promo from Rich before the match saying that he is a southern boy coming for the title. Jim Ross wanted to know who that gangster son of a gun that came out with the heels and this is the debut of the Dragon Master aka Kendo Nagasaki. Muta puts on a total clinic here making Cruz submit to the Muta Lock.

Next we get a promo from Humpderink and all 3 Samoans talking about how they are coming after everyone.

The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu) vs. Italian Stallion & Chris Powers (10/17/89)

SST manhandles these guys on their way to victory.
