This is the debut of the State Patrol on TBS as well which was great and they made this a competitive match which was cool.Norman the Lunatic vs. Mike Justice (11/1/89)Teddy Long is pissed that Norman is getting teddy bears and Long teras the head off of it which upset Norman. Dr. Death then shows up with a gigantic teddy bear for Norman and walks to the back. Norman is happy and then goes back beating Justice down while loving the bear. Norman came off the top rope with a splash with the bear to win.Next we get Funk's Grill from the Power Hour with Ric Flair and this is great because of how awesome Funk was. Extra material."Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Lee Scott (11/1/89)Now this looks fun as hell on paper. Funk then shows up and yells at Flair from ringside before Gary Hart was able to get him to go to the back. Flair would soon get the Figure-Four on Scott and won it quickly. I was wanting more from this one.The Z-Man vs. Lou Tafilloni (11/1/89)Z-Man puts Lou to sleep in short order.Luger cuts a promo next with Ross talking about how perfect he is and that he is coming for Pillman."Dr. Death" Steve Williams vs. Sid Vicious (11/1/89)This is a definite hoss battle right here and a brawl at the ebll as both men tee off on each other throwing bombs. Both men use their power moves to weaken the other one until Doc held the top rope down so sid tumbled to the floor. They started brawling out on the floor with Spivey ran out for the DQ and it's 2-on-1 with Doc fighting as hard as he can until jobbers ran out trying to help. Norman finally showed up with the bear that Doc gave him and he helped Doc out with the bear by their side. Extra material.Samoan Savage vs. Richard Sartain (11/1/89)Humpy and the SST came out with Savage who made very quick work of Sartain.Then we get a video of the Dudes/MX angle which was really good.The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Pat Rose & George South (11/1/89)No Cornette with the MX and Lane again does the intro. The MX dominate these guys but we get no finish as they went to the College Football Scoreboard out of nowhere.Ranger Ross vs. Bob Emory (11/1/89)We get an inset promo from the Dynamic Dudes before the match about their match with the MX at the Clash. Solid win for Ross using the Combat Kick.NWA World TV Title: The Great Muta © vs. Italian Stallion (11/1/89)Tommy Rich was supposed to wrestle Muta but he was hurt so Stallion took his spot. Rich had 30 stiches in one of his ears. Center Stage Cult Hero Muta is cheered heavily and Stallion got more offense in than normal since he was able to work more of the Japanese style and even dropped Muta with a release German Suplex. Muta came back though and used the Muta Lock to win.The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu) vs. Agent Steel & Gene Spurlock (11/1/89)Total squash.Flair joins Jim Ross next for a promo talking about his match with Terry Funk at the Clash and said that he would be in the best shape of his career because he has to be to keep his title.
