Just a heads up for anyone who is interested, we had the Memphis Territory in the 1983 game open up and you'd have the Rock N Rolls, Lawler, Mantell, Dundee, and Landell along with a nice crop of some others to get going. Additionally, we have talked about opening up Japan. With the 1983 game we send the workers who were on tour to Japan but we never see what they do there... so if someone wanted to jump in and run a 1984 All Japan or New Japan you'd be more than welcome. Not trying to poach anyone, but like Grimmas did with us, just letting you guys know about an opportunity to do something similar in the 1983 project (even though we are about to approach 1984). PM Me if you'd like to discuss more.

Oh it's no problem, I am really loving getting to work out my AJPW booking even if the presentation is a bit drab.

Yea I agree with Gordi seems to be a lot of dead promotions right now. I am enjoying everyones contributions so far though. I did want to get caught up on my own missed week last weekend but unfortunately time wouldnt allow it. I will get up to date eventually.

Yeah, I've found it's easy to come up with too many ideas when you have time and energy, only to find that when you are tired and busy it's tough to follow through on everything.

 

I can't speak for everyone, but in my opinion the project here is better off with you posting what and when you can and I don't really see the need for any of us to get too worried about making every detail perfect.

Yeah, just go simple, let the results come to you, there's no need to be flowery or whatever. Tell the story first, then add as you want. That sounds hypercondescending but I don't mean for it to.

I'd like to continue with the project, What's going on ECW and ECWA both promotions have not seen any action since September which is a shame, would anybody have a problem with me taking over ECW, i'm more familiar with it than Memphis which give me more confidence in putting together the shows.

I don't. I think that IF YOU CAN, trying to merge them would be best, and then you can run USWA as an imprint like I am with WAR in AJPW. You won't have to be as familiar and you can try extra ideas.

I'm thinking that after a month or two of zero activity, we could try sending PMs to the inactive GMs, give that a few days... maybe post a final notice on this thread or somewhere... Don't think any protocol has been established, though. It actually kills me a little that guys like Rey, Jericho, Ron Simmons, Owen Hart and on and on are just sitting there doing nothing in our alternative universe. I love the little world we are creating here, and I wish it could be a bit more lively.
