Steiners cut an inset promo before the match talking about winning the Iron Team tournament at Starrcade then proceed to squash these guys in a minute.

Teddy Long cuts a promo next about how the Skyscrapers are winning the Iron Team tournament at Starrcade.

The Samoan Swat Team vs. Rock Hard Rick & Mike Thor (11/28/89)

Total squash.

Sting cuts a taped promo next about winning the Iron Man tournament at Starrcade.

Sting vs. Bob Cook (11/28/89)

Sting gets a standing ovation from the fans then proceeds to beat Cook with the Scorpion Deathlock.

5 Minute $10,000 Triple Challenge: The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Trent Knight & Ricky Nelson (11/28/89)

The deal here is that the MX will face 3 teams and the first team that lasts 5 minutes with the MX gets $10,000. This is a cute angle. Nelson eats a Veg-O-Matic in less than 2 minutes.

5 Minute $10,000 Triple Challenge: ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Paul Drake & Larry Santo (11/28/89)

Drake makes his debut and Ross asked if his dad worked for Perry Mason. Drake ate a Flapjack at about 3 minutes.

5 Minute $10,000 Triple Challenge: ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Bruce Wayne & Dick Grayson (11/28/89)

The Dudes come out wearing masks and in their surfing shorts and they attack the MX then pin Eaton after the Wipeout finisher before running out. Fun angle and extra material.

The Z-Man vs. The Galaxian (Danny Davis) (11/28/89)

Danny Davis is back this week but this time under his old Memphis gimmick and eventually goes to sleep thanks to Z-Man.

Next we get clips of Flair/Muta from two weeks ago and Flair's promo from last week talking about his surprise. We come back to Flair joined by Jim Ross in the ring demanding that Gary Hart come to the ring saying that he won't lay a hand on him. Hart shows up and demands to see Flair's surprise but he brings his surprise first which is his crew. Flair then jumps on Hart-s men but Arn & Ole Anderson run out next and it's a wild brawl with the Horsemen cleaning house. Definite extra.

Kendall Windham vs. Rick Ryder (11/28/89)

Kendall makes his return to the ring after his issues with his dad and gets a good win.

Jim Ross is with the Horsemen next as the fans go nuts with Flair saying that the wrestling world needs to be turned inside out starting with Luger & Muta. Ole said that him & Arn are going to be the law & order of wrestling. Arn then cuts a great promo talking about don't mess with family especially in the NWA. Definite extra.

Woman and her boys cut a taped promo next about the Iron Team tournament at Starrcade. Simmons actually talks here letting even the stupidest people know it's him.

Doom (Butch Reed & Ron Simmons) vs. Italian Stallion & The Pro (Mike Awesome) (11/28/89)

Doom just mauls these guys and Norman comes out at one point wearing a Santa hat taking pictures of Woman and smiling before leaving.

The Roadies come out next with Ross talking about the Iron Team tournament at Starrcade. Hawk debuts "What A Rush" here talking about living on the edge. Extra material.

The Dynamic Dudes (Johnny Ace & Shane Douglas) vs. Sean Regal & Pat Rose (11/28/89)

Dudes look strong here.

Then we get clips of the Norman/Teddy Long breakup from last week. Long then is with Cuban Assassin offering him $5,000 to cripple Norman next week.

The Great Muta & "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer vs. Rick Fargo & Mike Hart (11/28/89)

Sawyer was so fun in this role and along with Muta they maul these guys.

"Captain" Mike Rotundo vs. Tommy "Wildfire" Rich (11/28/89)

Kendall Windham shows up at ringside watching the match as early on it's a pretty even battle. Kendall gets kicked out by Nick Patrick as the match continues it's back and forth pacing. The lights then went out at Center Stage which was odd but the guys kept wrestling throughout. Rich gets the Thesz Press on Rotundo but Mike gets his foot on the bottom rope. Rich would throw Tommy Young down into the ropes and Rotundo threw Rich over the top rope to the floor. Rich got a sleeper on Rotundo on the apron before Rotundo brought him back into the ring. Young is down on the mat and Rotundo kicks Young then turns him over when I guess Tommy told him he was hurt. The lights went out even more as Rich starts firing away on Rotundo then referee Mike Atkins runs out and tends to Young with Nick Patrick joining in. Rotundo gets a schoolboy on Rich holding the ropes to win the match. This match is ultimately known for the career ending injury to Tommy Young and we need to have that part as the extra.

"Total Package" Lex Luger vs. William Bell (11/28/89)

Luger wins in less than 30 seconds with a clothesline.

Gary Hart and his crew come out next saying that Flair was a fool for bringing out his surprise before Starrcade because that gives them time to plan their revenge.
