The Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy "Jam" Garvin & Michael "PS" Hayes) vs. Lee Scott & Mke Thor (11/28/89)

We get an inset promo from the Birds before the match talking about wanting their belts back and the Steiners are refusing to wrestle them. The Birds steamroll these guys.

Sting vs. Joe Cruz (11/28/89)

Cruz doing his own Stinger Splash on Sting was hilarious as Sting just manhandled him after that. During the match, Jim Ross reported that Tommy Young had a concussion and returned to action.....welp that wasn't the case.

Jim Ross is joined by The Road Warriors & The Steiners next talking about how they have formed an alliance after Starrcade and they are coming after Doom & The Skyscrapers. I love Rick marking out when Hawk started talking and then Rick said that he really thinks someone may die. Roadies & Steiners coming at you....yikes.....

Next we get clips of the return of Arn Anderson from last week. Then we get a taped promo from Gary Hart & Buzz Sawyer who was wearing a Top Gun baseball cap. Buzz then cuts a manic promo talking about how Ole Anderson taught him to be the way he is and he's coming for him.

The Dragon Master, The Great Muta, & "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer vs. Agent Steel, Bill Ford, & Rock Hard Rick (11/28/89)

Another mercy killing for J-Tex. The best part of the match is Jim Ross talking about coming to Philly and how Buddy Ryan & Jimmy Johnson should have a hair match.

Rick & Scott Steiner vs. Cactus Jack Manson & Rick Fargo (11/28/89)

Steiners have multiple kids sit at the ring for the match as they maul Cactus & Fargo. Cactus takes a lot of punishment and Ross/Sullivan put that over hard on commentary on how much he loves it. After the match, Cactus destroyed Fargo and hit his big elbow from the apron to the floor.

Kendall Windham vs. Trent Knight (11/28/89)

We get an inset promo from Kendall before the match talking about how he is back and he wants some gold around his waist. Kendall puts Knight away with the Bulldog fairly quickly.

Then we get a taped promo from Tommy Rich demanding a rematch with Mike Rotundo for next week because he wants revenge.

The Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn Anderson) vs. The Galaxian (Danny Davis) & Pat Rose (11/28/89)

Arn makes his in-ring return here. Gary Hart came out before the bell and gave Rose some pliers to use on Arn which he did but that pissed off the Andersons who take it out on these guys. Arn looks great here in his return and cuts a promo after the match talking about going all over the country in the last year talking about how the Horsemen have gone through adversity but family is still family and they are going to make the J-Tex pay.

The New Zealand Militia (Rip Morgan & Jack Victory) vs. Paul Drake & Larry Santo (11/28/89)

Militia win this one with no issues as Lord Littlebrook has his men primed for victory. Littlebrook said before the match that Margaret Thatcher has been very pleased with how the Militia has been turned around.

Luger is out next for a promo with Ross talking about how Flair has ducked him for a year and he tells Flair he should give up his title since he won't defend against him. Flair then walks out to confront Luger and it's fun watching them exchange barbs in opposite roles as Flair calls Luger a ripoff of him basically. Flair then talks some shit to Luger and told him to beat him if he thinks he is so good. Extra material.

Next we get a taped promo from the Dynamic Dudes talking about the MX where the Dudes want a 5 minute match against Cornette.

The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. Bob Cook & Rick Ryder (11/28/89)

The MX are pissed about what the Dudes did the previous week and took it out on these guys. Cornette & MX join Ross after the match talking about how he wants his money back and that the Dudes want him in the ring but he's not worried about it because the MX is going to win. Extra material.

The Z-Man vs. Samoan Savage (11/28/89)

Interesting match here as both of these men haven't lost on TV. Z-Man starts out strong but the Savage would start roughhousing him to get the advantage. Savage then used nerve holds to keep Z-Man down but he went up top and missed a big splash allowing Z-Man to make a comeback. Z-Man got a nearfall on Savage but Humperdink put his foot on the bottom rope then Savage threw Z-Man over the top rope for a DQ. Z-Man then went for more after the match and sent Savage scurrying. Okay for what it was.

Woman, Teddy Long, & Nitron are together next talking about how they need to combine forces to take out The Road Warriors and the Steiners.

Doom (Butch Reed & Ron Simmons) vs. William Bell & Ricky Nelson (11/28/89)

As Doom is totally mauling these guys, Norman comes back out in his Santa hat gawking at Woman.

$350.00 Bounty Match: Norman the Lunatic vs. Cuban Assassin (11/28/89)

That bounty number dropped hard in one week. Cuban used his flagpole to work over Norman at the start but Norman shakes it off and he starts pounding on the Assassin then dropped on him with a splash but Assassin got his foot on the bottom rope. Assassin comes back firing some shots on Norman but he still can't get him down. Norman though would end up getting the win dropping his leg on Assassin. Norman then cuts a promo holding his bear talking about his new friends he has made lately and said that he his heart is with the people.

Next we get a Starrcade 89 rundown which was taped after the show with Ross, Cornette, & Funk talking about the results of the show. Solie interviews the Roadies after winning the Iron Team tournament where they talk about their win and giving props to the Steiners. Solie also interviews Sting about winning the Iron Man tournament beating Flair in 30 seconds to win and he said that he had to do what he had to do to win. Sting puts over Flair hard afterwards and said that if he gets the chance for the NWA Title then he would definitely take it.
