Posted August 5, 20169 yr comment_5761633 The Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) vs. The Fantastics (Bobby & Jackie Fulton) (12/10/89)Cornette's racquet of course has Santa Claus on it and the fans still want to cheer the MX. This is fight at the bell as both teams go at it with the Fants sending the MX to the floor. The action comes back in the ring and the Fants are still dominant on offense the thing is the fans aren't really taking to these Fantastics like they did the old ones. Eaton fucking jacks Bobby's jaw with a right hand but Fulton would lock on the Octopus hold until Lane nailed him with a clothesline. The MX now are in full control working over Bobby before he finally gets the tag to Jackie who comes in blazing starting a 4-way brawl. Lane backdrops Bobby over the top rope and then Jackie eats a double goozle to end the match. This was a pretty fun all-action sprint and I'm throwing it up as a low-end nomination.

Great punch by Bobby Fulton. Nice double team back drop by the Fultons. Fultons keeping the MX off balance with double team moves. The shine has been pretty good. MX cheat to set up the heat. Lane working over Bobby with his karate. They do a KOTM spot. Lane brings him in and they illegaly double team in the corner. Big back breaker by Eaton. MX are targeting the back, along with cheating double teams. Really good heat segment, just a tad short. Hot tag and Jackie is on fire. MX hit a version of the double goozle for the pin. I'm on the fence as this given 5 more minutes would have been an easy nom. As it is it's a Low-end nomination , but barely.
