Accusations and counter-accusations and legal threats and innuendo while people who aren’t members of the family all throw in their opinions for retweets and likes and clicks…ugh. I hate social media. The whole thing is just so sad. Eddie and Vicki’s other daughter Shaul Guerrero (who used to be a talent in WWE and is married to Aiden English, I believe) issued a statement today. She seemingly legitimizes some of the claims made by her sister, but also confirms some of the counterclaims made by her mother. She also bemoaned the fact that this entire situation is being played out in front of the “fans” on Social Media.

April 7, 20232 yr comment_6002336 News of the week : Vicki is a complete trash person. Shaul is not that much better apparently ("yeah, my sister was sexually abused BUT, and making this public is really bad for the Guerrero BRAND tm"). Force à la victime. Nice to see Chavo is supporting her.

April 7, 20232 yr comment_6002360 Taylor Swift is the absolute GOAT. Kobashi, Danielson, Tanahashi and Omega all wrapped into one under a Wrestlemania banner and presentation.
April 7, 20232 yr comment_6002372 My point has always been until I know all the facts i don't automatically go Anti-Vickie. I was never pro-Vickie, just not my place to judge her until i know more of the story, or if possible a police investigation has been carried out. I will concede Vickie does come across as a terrible mother. But i'm always pro-Taylor

April 10, 20232 yr comment_6002477 I always heard that the family were never big fans of Vicki, but just mostly would grin and bear it because they wanted to keep the peace (and also probably not piss off Eddie). I'm starting to understand why now.

Which sounded like she wasn't talking about the rape clam against the stepfather. So my point was Vicki hadn't said how drunk she was in cruise, which is a different issue as i'm sure in the next 5 to 10 years any drunk sex will be a classed as a crime.

April 10, 20232 yr comment_6002483 I'm not close to the family, just read things that have been said over the years. Like Hector making comments about Vicki not being a nice person, which a lot of people just said was sour grapes over him working for TNA while Chavo Sr got a WWE gig. Chavo Jr has made similar allusions in the past as well, and her behavior in this whole ordeal seems to have confirmed a lot of what they were saying.
April 10, 20232 yr comment_6002484 I've never meet her or had dealing with her, I always heard she was well liked in the WWE while she was working there. But the family does see a different side of us, compared to our working life. But yes her IG post doesn't paint her in a good light, that may have just been a very ill thought out emotional response made in the heat of the moment. Not defending it, but people do act in weird ways when under stress or emotional events.
April 13, 20232 yr comment_6002712 I suppose next you're going to tell me that the first line of Sheamus' old theme isn't really "It's a shameful thing, lobster head."

April 19, 20232 yr comment_6003036 Bruno should really rank more (and higher) in lists of pure babyfaces that we often see in online wrestling circles. Being able to remain beloved and actually getting bigger as a draw as the years passed despite almost never losing is so fucking impressive. Has *anyone* else actually become a bigger draw over 20 years despite being booked so dominantly? Almost every wrestler's drawing power decreases when that happens. Shows what an incredible worker Bruno was. Look at the babyface fire in this video.
April 19, 20232 yr comment_6003039 Wish Bruno/Hansen could have been revisited post 1980. A quick look at cagematch shows there actually was a bit of a run in 1981, including another cage match in Boston. Wonder if that exists on tape anywhere, because Stan Hansen in 1981 is a completely different guy than Stan Hansen in 1976.
April 19, 20232 yr comment_6003042 I don't think there is any Bruno v Hansen 1981 footage. The Rocky Raymond Boston footage ends around 1980 I believe. Boston, even more so than New York, really was Bruno's city. Pedro had trouble drawing consistently there in the early 70s (they even brought in the Sheik for a shot to pop a house when he was basically banned from the rest of the territory) and Bruno would often work the main event feud in Boston instead of Backlund, against Maivia, Patterson, and Slaughter, in addition to Hansen. Not to mention his 85-87 old man run where he was used in Boston on top way more than in any other major city

April 19, 20232 yr comment_6003054 Real recognize real. You guys got any relatives with favorite wrestlers? None of mine ever liked the stuff unfortunately.
