If I wanted to know what guys like them thought about anything, I’d listen to their podcasts. And considering the Pro Wrestling podcast rankings, it looks like nobody does. On the rare occasion that somebody actually notable like JR or Dax Harwood or Jeff Jarrett actually say something newsworthy or controversial on their podcasts, these sites either misquote them, take the quote out of context or just use it as clickbait. I know the bar is already incredibly low in the field of Pro Wrestling “journalism” but even still, this is a new low.

For good reason too, because Vince clearly didn’t see anything in them at all. I forget which episode it was specifically, but he recently talked about their run on the Main Roster in WWE and it sounded like a total shit show. The threat of them going back makes a great bargaining chip, but I don’t know if it would happen. At the very least I think FTR is going to see what happens with the sale of WWE first.

The entire Mutoh segment from pre-match video to post match speeches was a delight. Even the match itself was pretty solid considering Mutoh can't walk. Then if you need to get out of it later, you can do so on Nitro or whatever. Just monumentally disastrous for WCW. Even more so than the Halloween Havoc Pay-Per-View that cut off during the Diamond Dallas Page Vs. Bill Goldberg World Title match. Sting could have just said he didn't need the title & relinquish to back to WCW or whatever if they needed to get it off him. His whole goal/story was to conquer Hogan & the nWo anyway. Once Sting joined the Wolfpac & started painting his face red, he was doneski.

Especially after this past week with the Observer awards, where AEW's social media shared congratulations to all the winners - except for FTR - including congratulating only the Briscoes for winning Feud of the Year. Their contracts are up next month. Dax says now that they told AEW they would work until then but thinks they're not very happy with them.
