Amazing that number got out so fast. If it's low, we don't hear about it until thursday sometimes.

 

I bet TNA didnt' do such a hot number either because it is usually out by now.

WWE.com even announced the number! I bet that's not something they'll continue doing.

I'm pretty sure it's if the rating is 4.0 or higher.

 

Sad thing is this means more segments like "live sex" and such.

Not to mention it's the first and probably only time that WWE delivered (accidentally) on the promise of nudity on TV.

The pattern seems to be the WWE is attracting a large audience who is eager for change. The Raw on USA did a big number, as did Who Is The GM episodes, and now you have a new champion with potential new feuds on top. I bet the WWE could sustain the numbers if they continue to lead-on the fans with the idea of potential change down the line, but one has to wonder how large the drop-off will be if (when) the fans find out that nothing is actually changing.

Oddly the only part of the show I missed was the nudity. Im slightly annoyed I must say.

It's kind of pathetic that a title change can only pop a .3-.5 in the ratings these days. It seems like even a few years ago that a title change was worth an extra .7-1.0 in the ratings.
