I don't find anything you said to be creepy material. Then again, I'm European. Hell. I'm French. I do think that creepiness, like many things, in in the eyes of the beholder sometime.

Then again. Mick Foley is a guy who was listening to Tori Amos' "Winter" minutes before getting willingly slaughtered and bleed like a pig for little to no money at Kawasaki Stadium. And took hundreds of chairshots to the head. And jumped from the Cell into a table to get his moment of glory. I mean. That this guy is kinda weird is not exactly a newsflash either.

Talking creepy, yeah, subjecting his little childrens to the chairshot massacre at RR99 with the complicity of his (then still) beautiful wife, well, yes. That was creepy. And shitty.

So, maybe I'd watch Holy Foley and find that this guy looks like the Red Dragon now. But from what I now or heard, I don't quite see it.

(Jerry Lawler was way creepier with women, in general. Foley just seem super enthousiast with the girl's work, and why not ?)

I remember reading Foley's first book & him going into detail about getting a blowjob & how the woman was like "some girls like doing it" & him talking about how it blew his mind or whatever. I remember thinking "why the fuck did you put this in the book?" He was weird then. He's weird now.

Did he not also talk a lot about some porn star and how he was a big fan of her in the first book?

As ridiculous as I find this thread because it takes the absolute worst and most embarrassing aspects of internet fandom - dissecting minutia and coming up with skewed conclusions - I thought this was worth re-posting here:

Foley's Facebook comment and picture confirming that Charlotte and Sasha will indeed be main eventing Hell in a Cell.

Mick Foley with Mick Foley.

CHILLS
Forget for a moment about Stephanie McMahon's jumping high-five or my awkward attempt to hug the #RAW Comissioner. The biggest moment of the night for us came when the #WWE cameras were off, and Stephanie and I just looked at the #HIAC poster, realizing that for #WomensWrestling, history is upon us - as Sasha Banks and Charlotte will main event the #HIAC PPV. I am so happy for Sasha, for Charlotte, for all the women who paved the way, and all those who aspire to follow in their footsteps. It is no exaggeration to say that looking at that poster gave me chills...and they were multiplying.

His comment seems...fine.

UPDATE: Foley edited his statement.

* Mick's note: I have no idea which match will go on last, or which match will go down in history as being the official main event. The Universal Championship match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins is shaping up to be something special, and I am sure both men will be doing their best to steal the show – which is as it should be. In the end, the main event is whatever each fan decides it is.

Lost a lot of respect for Foley when he did that. Just disgusting.

Side note: Lost a lot of respect for The Rock, too - for not seeing that Foley was in trouble and basically begging Rock to hit him in the back with the last chairshot and refusing to do it, then blasting him in the head.

That whole thing was just gross.

Not getting into the whole "Foley is creepy" thing, but he has always seemed very think-skinned and sensitive to criticism. He wrote a long-ass, really whiny response to Meltzer for criticising his 3rd book (I think) for essentially stuff that was not even particularly damning. He was also somehow convinced that his suggested angle of Terry Funk biting him in the ass was amazing and felt really insulted when it was shot down.

Speaking of wrestlers on Twitter, Randy Orton has gone on several tangents the last few weeks on things like Black Lives Matter and the Colin Kaepernick anthem protests. You can probably guess his views on those, the latter of which was especially ironic considering his history of going AWOL from the military (which people were quick to point out to him).

Poor Summer Rae, why does no one see her value? She was one of saving graces of the Rusev-Ziggler angle and was great in the BFFs angle in NXT. She's one of those people who does the most with the shit they give her and then they take away the shit so she has nothing at all. Sad face frown man.

He wasn't that nuanced on Twitter, at least not until a million people jumped on him trying to play the "disrespect the military" card when he was famously AWOL from same said military.

Twitter is not the place for nuance.

Seeing that his point, as dumb as it is, is less than 140 characters, it could be a lot more nuanced if he wasn't a blockhead.

Orton's going AWOL was a sign of being an immature punk who whussed out of a tough situation, and is a big blow to any "tough guy" reputation he ever tries to have.

Unless you can prove he had legit "why are we fighting this" moral and ethical concerns when he went AWOL, I don't see how quitting automatly means you can't be in support of your country's military?
