On paper this looks really good. In execution not so much. I mean it was a solid match , but lacked something. It was a little sloppy like how they blew the 1st fall finish, but they covered well except the ref was confused. Gordman was ahead of his time using a DDT and STO's. Hopefully they do better in the rematch, and that it's on nwaondemand. 2*

Decided to give this a rewatch. Chavo working the neck early. Chavo transitions to the arm. Gordman with a full nelson that Chavo reverses. Now Chavo is on the leg. Gordman gets his chance and starts to work Chavo's hand with bites, and slamming it into the turnbuckle. The timing on the 1st fall was off.

 

2nd fall and here we go. Gordman using a foreign object to choke Chavo.Gordman with a back senton gets the 3.

 

3rd fall and it's on. Chavo gets tossed over the top rope for a DQ.
