Hasn't the standard been 90-second intervals since 1996-7? Bruce Prichard talked about how they felt having it be every minute just made it too quick. I'd think an 80-85 minute RR wouldn't be too bad if it's going to have that many guys in it.

 

I'm intrigued by the idea. You could literally have 30 men fighting it out at one point.

Didn't they do the minute intervals in 1995 and that match is just a tad over 30 minutes. Perhaps that was down more to the sheer lack of quality on the roster at that point.

 

The did the "BIGGEST RUMBLE EVER" one year with 40 guys when they had all the Nexus/New Nexus/Corre/whatever stuff going on and I remember it not being a very good or memorable Rumble match. I think Del Rio won that year?

Yeah Del Rio won as part of his whole "Destiny" angle. The match wasn't that good though we did get the immortal "Im Marking Out" from Matt Striker.
