Sucks for the family, but it was the only likely outcome.

It sucks indeed.

Even if Jimmy was in perfect health, 30+ years is a long time to bring back a murder case. Evidence gets lost, witnesses/experts die, and unless you have the suspect on tape confessing there's too much reasonable doubt to overcome.

I feel bad for the family that they won't get closure. Snuka's lawyer saying he will release more info down the road and try to find the real killer is some real OJ crap.

Agreed. This is so indecent.

Why not just go quietly into the night? Why the big proclamation of future evidence being released? If just a really insincere form of assistance and makes everyone involved on the Snuka team look bad. I guess Tamina Snuka will be back on TV within the next month or so?

IIRC she was out because she had knee surgery, not because of this.

I'm picturing a TV show where OJ and Snuka are Private Eyes solving cases, while eternally searching for the "real killers." And they live on a boat, like Riptide.

And their maid is the robot from Rocky 4.

Rock tweeted earlier that Jimmy Snuka has died.

An RIP thread would be a shit show, but I guess this one is already and will be. Probably best to let time pass before a proper assessment of him as a performer

He's the only guy I ever seen have a bad match with Ricky Steamboat (in All Japan, for reference). He was the lesser worker of his tag team with Brody.

I have too. It doesn't hold up at all. Nothing he did holds up actually. He was a total one move wonder. I have never seen any stuff from Snuka anywhere that was particulary good. He was lazy as shit too. Almost Muraco like but without the talent. Funny because Snuka vs Haku on Superstar in 1990 was probably one of the very first match that hooked me up on pro-wrestling (one of the very first competitive match I remember along with Santana vs Perfect for the IC title).

Best Snuka matches I've seen:

Snuka, for me, was more about moments than matches. The Cage leaps, the Piper's Pit coconut, that sort of thing.

The Snuka vs Muraco feud has many awesome matches. Completely under-rated
