Good for Olimpico being fed up with getting the shit kicked of him and taking it right to him sweatshirt and all. Mask ripping and a weird cut where we go to the entranceway and now Panther is ripping up Olimpico’s mask. Olimpico is busted open and Panther tasting the blood is always a classic rudo spot. Panther wins the first caida on a submission and we come back to a bloody Olimpico being paraded around the fans. Clip to the inside where Olimpico makes his comeback. We come back to the final fall and the guys in the mix of it. Finish was really rewarding for me with Olimpico using the ropes to win. The clipping made this a little odd and I don’t know if I should rank it overall so I am going to be safe and not rank it but I really enjoyed what I saw and CMLL continues to crank out the quality.

I too liked what I saw of this, but considering everything Olimpico went through, I was hoping Panther would take more of a beating in this match. I would have rather Panther won after taking so much punishment than Olimpico won after taking so much punishment, but it's the latter that we got. Olimpico seems unsure what to do with his rage at times when he's got Panther down, but I got the sense that was part of his character more than a deficiency as a worker. I enjoyed this. Love the blood, and Blue Panther is so MEAN.

When did CMLL turn into IWA MS? I know they were struggling at this time but I'm stunned at all the blood. Olimpico takes another beating but gets the last laugh by doing a rudo move of holding the ropes during a pin. I liked what was shown of this. Panther just showing a bloody Olimpico to a mortified crowd to start the second caida was great.

I liked the booking here with Olimpico's DQ victory in the tournament final setting up a mano a mano bout. And I liked the continued viciousness from Panther who has never looked better as a rudo. I also liked the idea of giving Olimpico a huge victory over Panther even if he held the ropes to do it. But you'd think they would have shown more than they did on the TV broadcast. The clipping in February is worse than January.

Damn this CMLL clipping! This match has a hot start, the crowd is behind Olimpico, and then we cut to the crowd and cut back to Panther beating up Olimpico in the aisle. I don’t know when CMLL banned the blade so I’ll enjoy the bloody mask ripping while I can. The brutality of Panther’s beatdown leads to a hot comeback from Olimpico. This is my type of wrestling. Who knows how good this actually was in full, but what I saw looked like my favorite match of the year in CMLL.

Some great, intense wrestling, even with the caveat of the clipping. I LOVED the camera angle on Olimpico's opening tope with the inadvertent birdseye view as he just disappeared off screen like a missile. This is definitely what you'd want; great mask ripping, fantastic rudo work from Panther where he's just sitting Olimpico down in front of his fans and just beating the shit out of him and a heated comeback. I really liked the finish with Olimpico stooping to Panther's level and grabbing the rope for leverage. A shame we don't have the full monty but CMLL continues to deliver the goods. Easily the best promotion in the world after a month of 2000.

What we saw here is great, but like everyone else said, the clipping is a major disappointment. I do love that every single CMLL feud right now feels like a blood feud. It's a little overkill but at the same time, it makes the entire promotion have a dangerous feeling.
