Is anyone getting the 01/12/06 IWA M-S show? I'm trying to get all this stuff as it comes out instead of being behind on wrestling talk throughout the year and want to make sure I have stuff as it happens. If I can avoid going through SMV and paying $15.00 for one show on DVD, that would be preferable. Just seeing if anyone has it on the way in a trade.

OK, let me ask a couple of people.

OK, I found out that right now it is only available on VHs and my boy Brutal is waiting for it to come out on DVD.

Am I missing something with Necro? Everything I've seen seems to suggest he's another XPW style needlessly violent garbage worker yet I see him getting praised like the second coming of Mick Foley.

I have only seen the Joe match that I have even liked (The Joe match). It was a good fight... but I think that has more to do with Joe than anything else (like most Joe matches). The other stuff I have seen him in is about on par with Ian Rotten in ECW.

I got the VHS last night. Show is pretty blah but Necro/Joe II is great. Much different match than their first one, only hurt a little by the crowd in Indiana not being as great as the Philly crowd (praising a Philly crowd, I must have lost my mind).

 

Necro vs. Bull Pain from this years King of the Death Matches (11/16/05) is a streetfight more so than a death match, though there is one DDT into some light tubes. Awesome match as well. I have that DVD and can provide it.

Yes, as is a some of the September-October 2005 lucha I just got through, particularly the Perros del Mal vs. Capos feud which has had some amazingly good brawls.

Well, I have some lucha on the way from Dan but I can easily bump a match here or there to make room for another match.

I hesitated to nominate it because I didn't want to add to the burden and make the 2005 set even bigger, but I've decided it's the right thing to do to nominate the second Rey/Batista v MNM match from Smackdown in December, aired on 12/16/05. I'll post that in the thread for it as well, and I have it if you need it.

I need it. I think I am going to redo the WWE TV set because I think the Benoit-Edge and Benoit-HHH matches were just WP's blind Benoit love. I watched them the other day and I did not think they were anything special. In their place, I'll put the tag match and the Regal-Benoit Velocity match.

I would really like to finish these by the end of this weekend so I have my schedule opened up for the Mid South house show conversions which I hope arrive this week. If both of you can let me know ASAP, this set will be released sooner than I thought.

It's VHS. Does that matter to you?

Is it out on DVD yet? If so, I can get the DVD version from one of my traders at CM. If not, then I will take the VHS tape so I can finish the comp.

Will, these are 2006 matches, at least Joe/Necro is, so it wouldn't go on the MOTYC set anyway. I can go ahead and send you my DVD of the Rey/Batista v MNM match if you want to include it as well. Let me know.
