You will be missed My Friend. Rest In Peace --- One of my favorite pieces in my collection is a 1972ish AWA program with "THE MAN WHO BEAT BRUNO!" featured as they set up a series of Verne vs Koloff matches. I was too young to see him in his prime. His run with the Powers of Pain is my earliest memory.
February 18, 20178 yr comment_5788873 An all time great, who will hopefully continue to be appreciated more with each passing year RIP
February 18, 20178 yr comment_5788875 I'm weirdly excited to get the two Koloff vs Mascaras Houston matches at some point.
February 19, 20178 yr comment_5788940 RIP Uncle Ivan. A great bumper and bleeder. While he'll primarily be remembered as the guy who ended Bruno's long WWWF title reign, I'm also a fan of his smart tag team work for Crockett during the 80s.
February 20, 20178 yr comment_5789074 Richard Land put together this super cool video of highlights of Ivan's final WWF run from 1983. Includes various TV squashes, promos, and a big angle he did with Pat Patterson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtV0H3JjFcc
