January 27, 200619 yr comment_4399821 If you have the famous first "retirement" match of Terry Funk (the famous "FOREVER! FOREVER! one) I'm interested in that too. Date on that is 08/31/83, in case you need it. Funks v Brody/Hansen.
January 27, 200619 yr Author comment_4399843 Thanks, I knew it was in 1983 but I didn't know the date.
January 27, 200619 yr Author comment_4399930 I checked that date and found this: August 31, 1983, Tokyo - Sumo Hall 5. Bruiser Brody -vs- Jumbo Tsuruta - (NWA International Title) [*** 1/2] 6. Dory Funk Jr. & Terry Funk -vs- Stan Hansen & Terry Gordy [*** 1/4] Is that the match?

January 28, 200619 yr comment_4400494 This reminds me of how unbelievably confused all the AJ and NJ Classics airings have left me. I have no clue which ones are the right ones to seek out. NJ alone has Sky-A, Samurai, Showa, and a bunch of other stuff that's numbered in ways I don't understand. Dan Ginnetty tried to explain it all to me once at SC and it just left me even more confused. Now, with AJ repeating itself, I have no idea what the best source is to get whatever matches are out there.
January 28, 200619 yr comment_4400819 Right now, there are only 2 waves of AJ Classics. The best thing to do is just look at Wrestleholics or purodvdsource or Highspots at the newer releases of AJ Classics and see what matches they put on DVD so you can cross out those matches from the original classics. I made a word document with the original listings of the AJ Classics. If you want it, I'll email it to you. Unfortunately, several of the matches from the newer DVDs are clipped whereas the original ones were full-length. Tenryu-Steamboat is the biggest example I can find.
