I screwed up it's actually 1997

During the brief period where the new DX were heels and feuding with LOD 2000, HHH would absolutely tear Sunny apart on commentary and interviews. I didn't realize he was doing that stuff this far back. He definitely didn't go that far with Marlena or Sable during the Goldust and Mero programs.

They didn't screw his best friend either I guess.

This is the exact week when I went back to being a wrestling fanatic after the dark years of the mid-90's.

Regarding Shawn's "favored nations" clause: Bruce Prichard did seem to make a point on the Montreal podcast of not saying that Bret's 96 contract made him the highest-paid WWF wrestler.

(Also he says that the Lloyd's of London letter never happened FWIW.)

I went to a few New Jack City Wrestling shows, which used a combination of Dennis Coralluzzo guys like Donnie B, Twiggy Ramirez, Don Montoya, etc, and ECW guys. I think they usually ran Sunday afternoons so they would have access to the ECW guys who had just worked the arena. I THINK Mike Illions/AJ Sparx (the same guy who ran ACW and did the Great 8) was involved somehow, but I could be wrong about that. But these were usually fun shows. One exception, at least on a personal level, was a show we went to after our car broke down driving back from a Scranton ECW show in January on the PA Turnpike, so we were up all night and went to the New Jack City show afterwards, and I remember being a zombie at that show. But usually, these were good shows.

A couple of examples when to use an apostrophe and when not:

"Fritz' fake heart attack did not win the WON year end award for 'Most disgusting promotional tactic'."

"According to Michael PS Hayes the Freebirds' flat was destroyed when they got wild after getting drunk."

"The von Erichs did a lot of drugs."

In regards to Sage Stallone, I'm assuming the connection with Johnny Legend is due to Grindhouse Releasing and a relationship with Something Weird, who I think was putting out some Johnny Legend related stuff.
