I don't know, I know a lot of people in our corner were recruited from Crazy Max, but I really feel that the place isn't worth the bullshit anymore. It's like anyone worth dealing with there posts here, so why bother?

 

If you're wondering, this little vent was brought on by me suggesting they update their Bad Trader list (that hasn't been touched since October at the least) and I was basically told by an admin that they don't feel like doing the work. I mean, seriously, what the fuck? People are spending money, either in buys or in the cost of discs and shipping, and the people in charge can't be bothered to make sure you aren't wasting your time with someone with a sketchy past.

I think you are over-reacting. I agree it could be updated but the Crazy Max search function is pretty effective and anyone who wants to do a trader check there can do so effectively. As for the community, there a re a few knuckleheads but without Crazymax, I would not have found great traders like KZ, Ace, mwtapes, drak and so on.

It just rubbed me all sorts of wrong to basically get told "I don't feel like it" by an admin. They're the ones who made the bad trader list a stickied announcement then left it to rot. There's been a lot of guys "turn heel" and start screwing people, so a trader check might just bring out the people who worked with the guy earlier and gave him props.

I think I'm just getting burned out on wrestling boards, other than this one of course. Between the Cmax thing and me getting called a "smark hater" again by ROHbotz at DVDVR who can't handle the cold truth that ROH's belt is nowhere near world title status, I'm just getting flashbacks to WDI and me getting crucified and stalked because I didn't go with the Conventional Wisdom of the time.

 

God, this place really does spoil a person.

What's great is he freaks the fuck out over practically nothing, but he's the first to tell others to chill when they're mad over a legitamite beef. I think he even did it to Will too.

 

He's also the type that led me to my original post rant. The mods on CMax *have* to know the dude's trolling his balls out over Aceinthehole yet they don't do anything. When you have half the board pouncing on someone it's always a sign to me of poor board administration to let shit get that far out of hand. You practically have to rape someone's mom over there to get anyone to do something about it.

 

Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go over to DVDVR and see if any other ROHbotz want to explain why a company with no TV or PPV to speak of could possibly have a legit world championship without using "the belt was defended overseas" as a reason.

I think he thinks his opinion is somehow requested in EVERY SINGLE issue of debate over there. It's weird.

This is what pisses me off about CMax, their mods/admins let shit get out of hand. The whole moviedude thing could (and should) have been dealt with weeks ago, instead he's been left to run amok and piss off good traders.

 

I wouldn't worry about getting banned if I was you, Will. That would mean the mods would have to get off their asses and do something. It took them fucking forever to get rid of that porchmonkey character.

I seriously wanted to when he started his emo boy whining about the tortured soul that has surfaced inside him from 9 months of tape trading, and the pre-January Solstice being the catalyst for those changes, but I refrained, because the board is useful and I have no desire to get banned from there. At the same time, the guy is an emotional basketcase and I'd have strange suspicions that his IP address matched that of Sean Shannon if Shannon didn't have better tastes in wrestling.

The problem is that I refuse to let him spew his shit without responding. However, I have little faith that destroying his arguments will be seen as such, esp. if he continues to throw the word troll around like shit into the wind hoping it would stick.
