April 5, 20178 yr Author comment_5795812 Nakamura on real WWE TV is very surreal Nakamura on real WWE TV was supposed to happen. Nakamura on real WWE TV in a program with the freaking Miz is beyond surreal I didn't know that Dillinger was on the "list" of people being called up after WM. I wonder if he is replacing the Drifter Yeah, imagine telling someone 18 months ago that Shinsuke Nakamura and Miz would be in a feud

April 5, 20178 yr Author comment_5795815 Nakamura in theory has enough great potential matches lined up to have a hell of a run. Miz, Harper, AJ, Sheamus, Cesaro, Reigns and Lesnar spring to mind.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795816 incredible debut for Nak have a feeling Shane is going to be written off TV tonight. No AJ so far so that should be his segment

That's what happens when you're dogging it against washed up ex-TNA guys I guess. Although Miz has been friggin incredible for 12 months and more so not to undersell that. He made people care about Ziggler in 2016, which is miraculous.

April 5, 20178 yr Author comment_5795821 Don't know why they didn't just let Ambrose and Corbin do this match at Mania
April 5, 20178 yr Author comment_5795824 That seemed like a face turn for AJ. Two nights in a row WWE book a tag match main event I don't care about so I can sleep a little early. Thanks Vince.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795825 Is Emma the best wrestler in the world today? No. Is she my favorite wrestler in the world today? Without question.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795826 Nakamura's debut was the first time in years that I have legitimately had goosebumps watching wrestling. That was iconic. I'm still sort of knocked on my ass from it an hour later.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795827 So pumped for Nak on SDLive, and putting him with Miz right out of the gate is the best thing possible with it looking like AJ is heading to Raw. I was in attendance for his NXT debut in Dallas, and now I'll get to be in attendance for his main roster debut (match) in Chicago. I can't wait for that!
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795828 kinda weird there was no Bryan on the show. and thus ends nearly 20 hours of first run WWE programming in the last 5 days. The content era...
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795830 The fuck was that finish to the main event? Could Bray be the most overrated and inconsistent character they have on TV?
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795831 The fuck was that finish to the main event? Could Bray be the most overrated and inconsistent character they have on TV? He's really not even that over anymore. You would think this type of crowd would be behind him.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795832 It wasn't just that Nakamura debuted with the Miz. It's that he debuted in Cena's slot, basically. We'll see if they keep him there, but that's how the slotted him.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795833 Nakamura's debut was the first time in years that I have legitimately had goosebumps watching wrestling. That was iconic. I'm still sort of knocked on my ass from it an hour later. Did you watch him in NJ in recent years or are you coming into him somewhat fresh?
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795835 I've watched him enough in New Japan to know what he's about. The music was a lot of what made the moment. Combine that with the crowd reaction and Nakamura's theatrics and there you go.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795836 I've never seen someone look so genuinely elated to actually be over as Tye Dillinger. I'll always be happy for him.
April 5, 20178 yr comment_5795837 I was actually just listening to the Cabana interview with Cody from a few months back where they talk about how Dillinger is one of the most beloved workers amongst peers in the business (and someone they both view as a unique and underrated talent), so I gather there's a lot of backstage feeling that this run sincerely couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
