Styles turning babyface if going to Raw would make sense if it was to set him up for matches with Lesnar, Strowman, Owens, and Joe. I also - again - like Reigns and the Usos being aligned on Smackdown, and I could see WWE really thinking they can do Orton-Reigns for the SD title at Summerslam and make it a big deal. ... ... ... ... They're not going to have Reigns win the SD title at Summerslam and then do a unification match at Wrestlemania with Brock, are they? There's nothing wrong with that idea, but it never dawned on me that it would make sense if they switched those two.

There was an article by Brandon Howard a few months back that said Styles actually sold more merchandise than Reigns in Dec. of last year. Furthermore he has sold more Merch than either Punk or Bryan at any point in their WWE careers. I think Vince giving him the Shane match was a sign of confidence. If they do switch AJ and Roman I think they will be the collective centerpieces. But I have the feeling they are keeping Roman on Raw. I think they are going to do the Braun rematch at the April 30 PPV

As far as full time guys go, at least. He's been the face of SD the entire brand split, completely carrying the show even when not in the title picture, and despite the card placement, the AJ/Shane match had way more heat and interest than Orton/Bray based on basically every metric you can find online.

Strong odds are that a show prominently featuring AJ is going to be strong. He's not quite incredible enough to turn 3+ hours into 2, but there are so many new matches to look forward to if he is indeed moved. Much as Reigns makes sense, it does seem unlikely after the Taker win and how he was presented Monday, but that would really leave Smackdown with a hole on top as it'd be losing the babyface and heel that have carried the show since the split. Perhaps Nakamura is given a chance to fill the 1b babyface role, but depth looks to be an issue.

I think they're calling it a Shake Up (besides their love of naming things) because they don't want people to confuse it with The Draft that just happened where EVERYONE got drafted. It's more like the drafts they used to have every year with the brand split where a handful of people switch shows to freshen things up. They'll probably keep the same format of having Raw vs SD matches and the winner gets a random pick. I'm guessing.
