Are the wrestlers making the choice? Is it a contract negotiation between the brand and the wrestlers (where the Shakeup frees the wrestlers to negotiate with both sides)? Is it some random generator like the old drafts?
April 11, 20178 yr comment_5796790 I don't think they've officially set a kayfabe for it, but I would guess there was a negotiation process and/or something like a draft lottery were each brand could "protect" so many people. It's kinda logical that Bryan wouldn't protect Miz and Angle might not protect Zayn, for instance.
