February 2, 200619 yr comment_4434124 I would be interested in investing all my money in doing a major series of bulk buys throughout the year and getting ALL of the lucha we need. How do you feel about this, and how long do you think it would take?
February 2, 200619 yr comment_4434255 I am up for a major, major Lucha Bulk Buy, ala what Loss said. Specifically getting EVERYTHING off of Lynch's list, then getting all of Barnett's Lucha comps/handhelds/etc. and then all of Alredo's Monterrey/Lucha Libre Azteca/IWRG. Tim
February 2, 200619 yr Author comment_4434351 I am down like the Brown. Lets clear out the Alfredo bulk first. Tim, you are much more knowledgable on what lucha we need than Loss and I so any recommendations from Lynch's list, let us know. Also, I listed a ton of lucha matches feat. Eddie Guerrero and I want those so I can start on my Eddie guerrero project.
February 3, 200619 yr Author comment_4442001 OK, I have been brainstorming all day on how this can be arranged. I am thinking that we get 4-5 guys to pitch in anywhere from $30-50 a month. Included in the cost will be shipping, disc cost and packaging (sleeves, etc). If I can get the duplicator with sales from the 2005 set then I will be more than happy to make dubs for everyone. If someone else wants to take the task of dubbing and sending, I am ok with that too. Still, I don't want to go over the limit on people because it would take too much work for one person even with a duplicator. If you want to cut a deal with other traders to help your costs, then go for it, as long as I don't have to make their discs. Because of Lynch's price structure, the amounts listed above would get us anywhere from 15-20 discs a month. I am open to ANY suggestions from you guys on what we should pick up. Personally, I want to collect as much Eddie footage as I can so I can start on my Eddie chronicles. I have a ton of WCW coming my way and Japan as well so the lucha footage is next in line for me. I am also really hyped to collect more El Dandy and Santo footage to see where I would place them on my Top 100 list. I have Lynch's lucha list.I am assuming Tim does also. I may be able to run copies but I am not promising anything right now. I think it only cost $8 so it may be easier just to buy it from him. You guys tell me what would be a reasonable amount per month and if you are committed to the project. If more than 5 people want to join, then maybe we can arrange it where the ones willing to dupe can pass it on from there to the ones not able to dupe and we can double, or at least increase, the amount of footage we get each month. I know that Loss, Tim, myself and EJ have all expressed interest. Is anyone else willing to commit to this every month? Speak now so we can figure out the best gameplan.
February 4, 200619 yr comment_4445587 I think one or two of the guys from Real in Memphis would be up for this. Let me go ask.
February 4, 200619 yr comment_4445669 As soon as I start working, I'd love to get in on this. I should hear something in the coming week about a couple of openings, so the law of averages would be in my favor on getting at least one firm offer out of them. No matter what, I can't go too much longer on what I'm getting from unemployment so I definately have to land something within the next couple weeks.
