Ok, here is where we stand....

Right now, these are the guy that are interested or willing to participate.

goodhelmet

loss

mort

tim

EJ

Mort said he has a couple of mates who may or may not be interested.

How does this sound for a plan...

We can send the money to me (or anyone else for that matter) and purchase the Lynch discs. From there, I will burn two sets for Mort and Loss. I will send them their sets and then Loss would make 2 sets (EJ and Tim) and Mort would make sets for his mates. If each guy pitched in $30 for discs a month, That would be $210 worth per month which is a little over 30 discs. Any added cost would be shipping and blanks cost. If we want to set a flat rate of $30 then we would receive less discs but keep the cost lowered.

OK, I have figured out plan to do this....

1. Everyone in the bulk sends an initial payment of $30. Once everyone is in, I place the order to Lynch.

2.If you are a burner, then whoever you receive the discs from, you will pay for shipping and blanks cost in a 2nd payment. If you can't burn, then you will pay for your blanks and shipping to whoever is sending you the discs. This way, everyone who takes the time out to burn basically gets free shipping and no disc cost for thier efforts. So, while you may have to pay upfront to cover costs, you will regain your cost from the 2nd branch. If you are sending in a flat rate Priority box then the cost should be the same for everyone.

3. Right now, we have the following....

Loss, goodhelmet, Tim ,EJ, Mort, Brian and 3 guys from RIM.

That is 9 guys which would be $270. after Paypal is taken out, we are looking at about $240 to spend on discs a month. If we bought individual 2 hour shows then that would add up to 40 discs per person. Since he has those 9 dollar prices for double disc sets, it will more than likely be closer to 50.

As far as I know, EJ and Tim do not have the ability to convert. If the above setup is a concern, let me know by all means.

I figure Mort can handle the guys from RIM so he can deal with them as he sees fit.

Now, for Loss, Brian and Mort, since you guys have the capability to burn, you can figure out how the branches go from me. I will burn 2 sets to send to 2 burners. Which 2 is up to you guys. then from there, those burners can send to 2 other guys and so forth until the chain is done.

In conclusion, the burners who actually have to put time into this will get the discs basically for the $30 you pitch in. The non-burners will probably have to pay about $25 more per order. Maybe a little less, maybe a little more. However, I think that is fair since burning discs takes time and effort and the burners should be rewarded for that time.

Thank about that .... people will save anywhere from 90% to 75% on each order.

No matter which end you are at, you are getting a good deal. Now, if anyone has any questions or problems, then voice them here.

"Mexico #11 (6 hours) (3 discs)

(Santo-Fuerza-All Star Round Robin; Dandy vs. Charles)"

The first part of this tape is something we already have. FM's Best of Lucha 1989 contains the round robin section. I have Dandy/Charles on VHS if you want to convert.

"Mexico #16 (2 hours) (1 disc)

March 25, 1990

(Dandy v. Azteca; Estrada vs. Satanico)"

I have Mexico #16 on VHS (just got it last week).

"Mexico #26 (6 hours) (3 discs)

Nov. ? Dec. 1990

(Atlantis v. Satanico; Octagon v. Charles; Lizmark v. Satanico; Fuerza-Ramirez-Octagon three way; Satanico v. Dandy; Ramirez v. Octagon)"

The "Best of 1990" show is ONLY clips. I thought it wasn't until I got Atlantis/Dandy from the show and it only showed 4 minutes (though a nice 4 minutes).

"Mexico #33 (6 hrs) (3 discs)

July 14, 1991 (Guerreros vs. Cruz, Dantes and Mendoza)

July 28, 1991 (Los Brazos vs. Guerreros)

August 11, 1991 (Atlantis vs. Blue Panther)"

You have 7/28 on Brazos Volume 2 DVD you converted for me.

"Mexico #34 (6 hours) (3 discs) Aug. ? Sep. 1991

(Dandy, Black Magic, Dantes v. Cruz, Panther, Pierroth) (Guerreros v. Satanico, MS1, Masakre)"

I have the first match on VHS.

"Mexico #36 (6 hours) (3 discs) Oct ? Nov 1991

(Fuerza v. Octagon; Trios Tourney semis)"

I have this in parts but want it all on DVD!!!

"Mexico #38 (6 hours) (3 discs) Nov ? Dec 1991

(Brazos v. Satanico, MS1, Morgan) (Sataico v. Dandy) (Dragon, Mysterioso, Santo v. Fuerza, Fiera, Charles)"

See above.

Yeah, just read where it said clips only. That sucks. How can I get these matches in full?

Ok, cool. However, I remember putting down all 6 hours because it looked like a promising tape.

For the shows you have on VHS, we could probably stand to upgrade it a generation since there is quite a bit of a drop from going from a 6 hour tape to a 6 hour tape as Lynch used to do. Going from master tape to DVD is the way to go.

Tim, do you have more matches and/or Tape numbers you want to add to the list? Same goes for anyone else in this deal. Do NOT be shy.

Also, I am holding off on a bunch of the AAA from 1993-95 because I have the entire Barnett set. Now, I just need to find someone who has the dates and cities for the Barnett set so I can eliminate matches we already have.

Not everyone in the trade should get footage already owned. If Tim wants to send it to me then that is his perogative. In fact, it would be cheaper for people to trade for it. If you want to make a trade with Tim for the footage then make a trade. You shouldn't expect it to be freebie when it has nothing to do with the bulk. Anything I buy from Lynch would be footage that we do NOT have and rest assured, anything bought from Lynch in the bulk would be distributed to all parties involved. Any footage that is already accumulated is left up to the person who owns it to decide what they want to do with it.

So the original order remains as is? That's what I was checking. I just wanted to make sure we wouldn't have a lot of people popping up saying they had this or that, while the rest of us who want the lucha are left out or have to make separate trades for it. If we're still picking up all of that stuff on DVD, even if someone in the circle has it, I'm happy. It shouldn't matter if one person has it, if there are five others who don't. That's what I'm saying.
