The comedy added a nice new facet to this promotion as Stalker has really extended sequences throughout this match and him and Fuji especially shine. I liked how Crazy Max revamped their double and triple team offense to be more comedic as well including the momentum swing into the lowblow via CIMA. A tag that shows you can have fun within a promotion and still produce good in ring action. ***1/4

I don't think this was competitive enough to be a great match, but I enjoyed the work quite a bit. Stalker Ichikawa is fun to watch, but stood out like a sore thumb. To their credit, Crazy Max adapted the match to fit him, and it worked. I love the hairpulling accusations and it was good to see something more laid back. This reminded me of the kind of match WWE would do after Raw, and in that sense, I understand why this didn't air on TV. ***

The saying is that you have to be a great singer to sing bad on purpose. I wonder how true that is for wrestling. For the psychology part it is definitely true. I would wager that guys like Ichikawa and Ebessan could wrestle a serious match without looking bad at all, so I assume there is some truth also in the mechanical part (that somersault senton to the outside from Ichikawa looked pretty sweet at least).

I have watched a ton of Toryumon and Dragon Gate and have never seen Stalker Ichikawa in a serious match. I have seen him fight MMA in DEEP however...

I dug the comedy bits that came with having Stalker in the match as its a new element we haven't seen implemented to this level yet in Toryumon. His exchanges with Fuji were the best.

The match its self was kinda underwhelming.

This match was heavy on the comedy bits. Stalker Ichikawa's nose picking spot isn't something that I've seen used a lot. Dragon Kid's moonsault from the second rope to outside the ring was another example of spectacular high flying from him. The match never seemed cohesive, but Ichikawa at least made CIMA and the gang deviate from their regular match pattern. Fun match.
