THis stipulation is one of my favorite in wrestling and these guys performed it admirably here really going after each other with intensity and hatred to prevent having to go into the apuestas match. I think CIMA in particular was a prick ripping the mask of both of his opponents. We have seen Crazy Max run roughshod for a lot of the 1st half of 2000 so seeing them fail here and having to be pushed into a wager match against each other felt justified. ***1/2

This was pretty fun as they go balls to the wall here and they maintained an incredible pace throughout the entire match. The stip works given the C-MAX dominance. The mask tearing and the finish were the highlights for me. That chicken wing suplex TM has been using looks amazing. I can’t believe others haven’t picked up on it.

CIMA's a magnificent bastard here, but the match itself is rather average. Sasuke and TM IV aren't particularly sympathetic, so this ends up feeling like a complete tonal clash when Crazy MAX melodramatically heels it up against two guys who sadly seem more interested in putting on a formulaic Juniors-style match rather than doing any prolonged selling to extract full value out of CIMA's awesome mask tears, general Crazy MAX chicanery, etc.
