March 7, 200619 yr Author comment_4613442 Apparently he's not going to make it and is going to be taken off life support tonight. RIP Kirby
March 7, 200619 yr comment_4613542 Just shocking. I didn't think much of seeing the news of him having a stroke for some reason. I just figured he'd pull through. Getting into baseball too late, I wasn't able to fully appreciate him, but this is still a shock nevertheless. RIP, Kirby.
March 7, 200619 yr comment_4613907 I shall always remember his "We'll see you for Game 7 tomorrow, folks" HR in Game 6 of the 1991 World Series. RIP Kirby. You died far too young.
March 7, 200619 yr comment_4616334 Rest in Peace Kirby. On a side note, it would be nice if guys like Colin Cowherd would stop talking shit about him for at least a couple days. Let his family, friends and fans grieve before putting him on blast for not being perfect.

One of my earliest memories of anything baseball-related is watching the game where Kirby announced his retirement. RIP.
March 7, 200619 yr comment_4617266 Yeah, Cowherd's got this self-inflated ego for some reason. His show's awful and the guy doesn't seem to know the first thing about sports.
