I figure if they are going to put the effort to bring back a classic PPV name, it's at least going to be a Network Special. I mean, if they don't do that much what's the point?

I remember a few years ago they did a Bret Hart appreciation night, a Hogan one and a JR one and a Flair one but all damn house shows. Shame they didn't film any of them.

To work people into thinking that a regular house show is suddenly a REALLY BIG DEAL because they gave it a name instead of just having it be part of whatever the tour name is at that time. Judging by the internet reaction that's worked quite well.

Right, this is the same reason they did a title change at MSG a few months back.

Well it certainly doesn't feel like Starrcade to me. When I think of Starrcade, I think more so about a time frame than an event, really. I think of pre-Hogan WCW. I think of Jim Crockett. I think of Dusty Rhodes & Ric Flair. I certainly don't think of WWE and Jinder Mahal.

The Michael Hayes/Cody Rhodes interactions on Twitter are somewhat intriguing though. It would be cool if they brought in Cody Rhodes and had Goldust work as Dustin Rhodes on the show.

Probably not a good look for someone with power in WWE to be tweeting out stuff making it look like the ROH champ will be appearing on one of their shows.

I mean we all know it isn't happening, but this is the same company that put guys on ice for months to avoid any appearance of contract tampering. Now you have one of the top non-McMahon people in the company basically offering their top guy a spot on a houseshow.

Hayes was probably drunken. You know the minute Trip is in power, Hayes is a goner.

"Hi, PS, take a seat.

We've been through a lot together, haven't we? Lots of wild times. Actually I remember one wild time that blew 'em all away. Remember me and Steph's wedding reception? Remember almost ruining it by making a drunken asshole of yourself? Well, I hope it was worth it, rock star.

And leave The Godfather's suits at the door. We're archiving that shit now."

And recently retired and new head of security at Stamford, Mark Henry, escorts him to the door.

So, apparently, The Rock N' Roll Express are booked to face The Club at Starrcade. Anyone else read something to that effect?

I really wish they would televise this.

Even if they don't I bet that match turns up on YouTube courtesy of a fan and we get to see its greatness. Don't let us down, people of Greensboro.

Booby Roode and Ricky Seamboat! Together at last!

They should run a house show in Minnesota in April and call it WrestleRock, one in May in Texas and call it The Parade of Champions...

I'm sure you could make it a monthly event. Best thing would be seeing which old stars they could bring in for it, and how they would mis-spell their names on the poster.

Its not misspellings, its Mandella! Come on, get with the times ;)

There is a universes timeline where Rick Flair wrestled frequently for JCP! And now we are seeing another breach, or melding where Ricky Seamboat and Booby Roode are who we think Ricky STEAMBOAT and BOBBY Roode are ;)
