A really solid tag match that only went 12 minutes but carried a neat structure of Onryo being beat up on from the Kanemura and GOEMON team. Onryo does still have a neat gimmick that feels fresh and played up. The weapons interspersed with this like the Gedo/Jado tag didn’t feel hamfisted in and flowed naturally. The match also never got too ridiculous that it drifted into excess. Tanaka and Kanemura had some strong interactions with each other and the teaming of Tanaka and Onryo was well done. ***1/4 (6.6)

Yeah, this was pretty awesome. Onryo's gimmick was over and he had a unique presence and his in ring work was relatively good here. A bunch of crowd brawling and some blood here. The hardcore elements here never got excessive and they never went overboard with anything.

Good stuff.

The whole vibe of this was a ton of fun. I really like Onryo. He has a reckless kind of smoothness in the ring. His dropkick looked great. He really had a quick snap on his rana and he died well on the table splash outside the ring. I didn't really love Tanaka needing to work in a German suplex fighting spirit no sell spot but the big picture here was a good and energetic match.
