November 3, 20177 yr comment_5818652 Should we have a time limit for picks? I'm thinking something generous, like 24 hours...
November 3, 20177 yr comment_5818653 24 hours is good. Doubt anyone will take that long, but it's good. Just to check, I get the moon right?
November 3, 20177 yr Author comment_5818654 Should we have a time limit for picks? I'm thinking something generous, like 24 hours... 24 hours is good with an immediate pick upon return. Maybe when we get to the 20th round we'll go to 12 to finish up. I was also thinking of a database thread to house everyone's rosters.
November 3, 20177 yr comment_5818660 What's the start date we're aiming for? I'm going to be without communication from Nov. 13 to 18.

November 3, 20177 yr Author comment_5818680 It's a blessing and a curse. You'll set the pace for the draft with that pick for sure.
November 3, 20177 yr comment_5818682 It's a blessing and a curse. You'll set the pace for the draft with that pick for sure. It's quite the challenge, not only who to pick first but in trying to set up a potential plan since my second pick is at the end of Round 2. But them's the breaks, just have to figure out how I want to play it.
November 3, 20177 yr Author comment_5818686 I think the best part about this is the range... A 1989 Hogan is a lot different than. 1992 Hogan. Hell even a 1988 Barry Windham is way different than a 1992 Windham. A lot of scenarios to think about in regards to drafting a year.

November 3, 20177 yr Author comment_5818691 Put together an initial draft board to work from... I have over 200 names on there. Some teams I was thinking that may be troublesome for picks are like a Power and Glory. Yeah they had hype as a tag team but Hercules had a superior singles career before that tag team so they'd need to be separate. How about Tanaka and Kato? Are they a team or is it Tanaka and Diamond? All interesting little things to consider.
November 3, 20177 yr comment_5818692 In Tanaka and Diamond's case, I guess it depends...do you want the Orient Express or Badd Company. Unless you decide to go with Tanaka & Saito as the Orient Express rather than with Kato/Diamond.
November 3, 20177 yr Author comment_5818709 A lot of people have privately messaged me about this and wanted to know... Yes midgets are eligible for the draft. Also women are eligible if you would like to add them to your rosters for your show.

November 3, 20177 yr comment_5818728 I'll change it to Uranus when I've got time. har har. My plans depend on it!
November 4, 20177 yr Author comment_5818737 https://www.gillmeister-software.com/online-tools/text/reverse-sort-list.aspx Thank you to whomever created that tool. Draft orders have been done... double check if you think I have made a mistake. Everything looked good to me but I am tired. Draft started Monday morning @ 8am. Keep up the fun conversation here if you'd like... I am sure everyone is keeping their cards close... I will go on record and say 1992 is a WEIRD year for lot of guys... some great youngsters starting while older guard fading... lots of fun people to look into and pick from.
November 4, 20177 yr comment_5818738 See, with Power & Glory, I feel like you should be able to draft a 1990 or 1991 version of them. Same with 1988 or 1989 version of The Twin Towers. If a team was together for over a year, that seems like a legit pick. If that makes everything too muddled, that's fine, but that feels like a different situation than The Megapowers, Megabucks, Mega Maniacs, Jim Duggan & Nikolai Volkoff, The Enforcers, etc...

I agree to an extent.. Savage and Hogan are so much more than a tag team plus their tag encounters can be counted on one hand... perhaps that the is the equation behind it. If the team had more than 20 matches... that makes them a team?
November 4, 20177 yr comment_5818763 I think a distinct number of matches is the answer for sure. But a little higher, maybe 50? That solidifies Power & Glory, Twin Towers, Enforcers, etc... gets rid of any makeshift teams I believe.
